BIGREDIOWAN
The back up QB is always the most popular on the team when the chips are down. Quote Link to comment
grandpasknee
Not sold on Tommy, but not sold against him either. But I do agree.....you see a lot of other schools throw a new QB into games like this. Still..I give TA one more set of downs. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
He might have something here. Fake Bo Pelini @FauxPelini 19m19 minutes ago THIS IS WEIRD BUT THE EXACT SAME PLAYS FROM THE FIRST HALF ARE STILL NOT WORKING Quote Link to comment
lo country
Time to think of something different on offense. Except for 2 plays, the defense has played pretty well Agree and they are still very young. D is a bright spot. O not so much. Why no Cross. Dude is a beast Quote Link to comment
strigori
Defense is salty. Offense needs a Quarterback. That has been a consistent problem. It can't be that hard, MSU is going to have 4 in a row make NFL rosters. We can't even find a decent college QB. Recruiting deficiencies. Quote Link to comment

HuskerNation1
The negativity is strong in here... I'm starting to think I just gotta tip my hat to MSU. They are more legit than I thought. I don't know why we're slaying Beck right now. Yeah his series after half was weak sauce... But honestly they're just doing a great job keyinG on AA and shutting him down and kicking our OLs collective asses. I think we have a right to be negative/frustrated. It's the first big game Nebraska has had in a while, and they are totally unprepared. MSU is good, but we should be competing with them. Rutgers beat Washington State which almost beat Oregon (before AZ did), and we know Oregon walked all over MSU. Quote Link to comment

He hasn't shown 2 TE's, misdirection, draws, reverse, jet sweep etc.... Nothing to nullify their aggression. He is out classed and lost Pretty much sums it up. Well said. Quote Link to comment

The Nebraskan Assassin
The back up QB is always the most popular on the team when the chips are down. Well, when the backup QB is a guy who drew comparisons to Andrew Luck and Troy Aikman, he's worth a look. Quote Link to comment

Tommy's still a rookie, was always a questionable passer, and our line is getting dominated by defenders who just hold their position and never give up the big play that we rely on. We've had plenty of lucky breaks and did nothing with them. Even my wife knows Bo won't try a different QB for political reasons.....we'll just take this one and call it a learning experience.
