HuskerPowerVA
Well I am still pulling for Sweater Vest and Wikipedia stated earlier today that he was the current NU HC...seriously it did. Quote Link to comment
Ed Helms
Regarding Tressel: IF Nebraska were to hire him, I can almost guarantee that Perlman, Eichorst, and Tressel could convince the NCAA to reduce the restrictions placed on him (not able to coach the first 5 games and not coaching in bowl). You do realize that anyone can edit almost every Wikipedia post at any time. I could edit Tom Osborne's page to say I'm his illegitimate child if I want. Don't ever, and I mean ever, use wikipedia as a source for hard information. Quote Link to comment

Landlord
Ron Kellogg tweeted that he shook Jim Tressel's hand today. In Lincoln. 1 Quote Link to comment
95huskers
Tressel would be smart enough to hire very good coordinators and he is still respected among coaches and would be able to utiliz past recruiting pipelines to further build this program. I think Tressel would make a great CEO Quote Link to comment

Can you check with dad to see if he can get me into one of those awesome booths during the game? Quote Link to comment
NateDawg
My Allstar Coaching Staff: 1) Jim Tressel HC 2) Frost OC 3) Muschamp DC -Nebraska should not be afraid to spend big money on coaches. But my question is this: Is Jim Tressel even eligible to coach until 2016? Im yet to get a strait answer on this and Im curious. yes, he can coach this year. it has been mentioned in numerous threads on here. iirc he cant coach the first 4 games and the university has to report to the ncaa every time he goes to the bathroom. okay, the second part might not be true but they will have to make reports to the ncaa more often. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Show-cause_penalty His show-cause is through Dec. 2016. The initial punishment was that he couldn't coach or have contact with the team/assistants for the first 5 games he is employed (I believe this includes fall camp) or any post-season (CCG or bowl) games during his first season as coach. There is also a monitoring piece required of the university through 2016. Now what the penalty could be negotiated down to, I can't say. Quote Link to comment

Bielema would be great, if you want to be Wisconsin 2.0. And i thought that we were supposedly better than that. But, I'm betting that the vest isn't the guy. Quote Link to comment
