Hydro Husker
This thread is a great example of why I think NCAA athletes on scholarship shouldn't be allowed to have social media accounts. 1 Quote Link to comment
skersfan
You guys really have no clue of what he did when he left the last time. He was a pain to the last staff for almost a year after he leftThis is a vindictive man, he will do Nebraska no favors from this day forward. If I were Eichorst and felt I need to let him address the team, I would have him escorted to the meeting and from it, and people there during it. The next few weeks are going to be tough for the kids, cut off the festering part and throw it away. Quote Link to comment
Scratchtown
I kind of have a theory. At least with how critical Armstrong was. Wonder if he knows he might be screwed with a new coach. I think its pretty evident or assumed that Bo may not exactly have given all the players fair shots to succeed. For whatever that reason is. Just a thought I had...I didn't see a tweet from Fyfe or Stanton...or many backups... Eh?I will admit I haven't followed REAL close either. Quote Link to comment

He just spent 3 years with coaches he trusted and who apparently trusted him as the starting QB the past 1 1/2 seasons. He may have to learn a totally different offense, and his starting QB job is up in the air. If you were going to "lose your job" you would be sensitive, as well. Quote Link to comment
Saunders
If Bo truly cares about the development as men and the futures of his players, he will get a handle on this and help these guys prepare for transition, and not permit any fall on the sword to avenge him nonsense. Forgive me for being a little skeptical. He may not be able to meet with the players, and right now, all the players are scattered and not on campus. There's a meeting with Bo and the team scheduled for tomorrow evening. Quote Link to comment

huKSer
They love their HC, or most of them do. I don't blame them at all for being upset. I just hope they are willing to let this settle in, step back and see who the next guy is, and make the best choice for their future. An immediate or reactionary decision may not be the best choice. Staying at Nebraska could result in being the most successful and beneficial choice for current players and recruits. That option should not just immediately be thrown out. I remember a player set on transferring when Callahan was fired. Then he met with with the new coach and decided to stay. His name was Suh. 1 Quote Link to comment
