jjamuss
Kind of surprised to see this. Sean Callahan @Sean_Callahan I can confirm that former head coach Bo Pelini did not address the team at today's 4 pm meeting ($) http://rvls.co/1yDYFR7 #Huskers That is odd... the way some players responded on TWITter, I think Bo would want to have a last word with the team before his name is scraped from the HC office door. Partly, I wonder if Bo couldn't face them or something like that? However, knowing he cares for those kids, his absence at the final meeting is a backhand to the team, imho. I want to give the benefit of doubt, but I think true colors finally shined. I hope the team will realize what a slap that is and will use it as motivation to fully support the new man, whoever that may be. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
I have no problems with them venting over this. It's not like we're talking about a small portion of the student section leaving a game at halftime, or something silly like that, it legitimately affects their lives. How's the twitter mood now that they've had a chance to sleep on it? Quote Link to comment

Sean Callahan @Sean_Callahan I can confirm that former head coach Bo Pelini did not address the team at today's 4 pm meeting ($) http://rvls.co/1yDYFR7 #Huskers I'm not, Bo is a prick and only cares about himself I'm actually surprised by this...unless he is scheduling a private get together with the team off campus...I could see that. But not talking to his kids at all is extremely petty...even for Bo. I agree. Players tweeting saying that Pelini is the only one that cared about them and then he doesn't show up. I am hoping that something prevented him from doing so, but nothing that would cause him harm. Quote Link to comment

It was ironic to see this after players were tweeting that it was crap to get the news from SE via email. Id rather get an email that get stood up. Although we all know how Bo handles awkward situations.. Quote Link to comment

skersfan
Most likely because the meeting would be monitored at the university. This is not good. Quote Link to comment

LumberJackSker
So, I'm starting to get the sense that Rose was not the biggest fan of Pelini. that's not our linebacker, he goes by Michael rose-ivey I think Quote Link to comment

Bo's alot of things, but doesn't care about his guys enough to meet them one last time, voluntarily? That's a load of horsesh#t. 3 Quote Link to comment
Bowfin
If the fans didn't care then Nebraska doesn't make any money off of football and the football program will no longer exist. So you are saying: Fan $$$ = Football I disagree. College football doesn't have to exist in its present form. In fact, I would rather not have seen it turn into the minor leagues for the NFL and an escape for people who artificially boost their self esteem just by buying a t-shirt. 1 Quote Link to comment

Didn't Pelini pull some shady crap with players/recruits on his way out after 2003? Hope I'm remembering wrong... Quote Link to comment
