ColoradoHusk
And Nebraska has a strong presence at Lawton due to Shields and Minter. Do you think "Nebraska" has a strong presence at that school considering Minter was last there over 20 years ago? I know it's good to have history, but I think that's a bit of a stretch. Either way, it's great to have this kid N. Quote Link to comment

"Oregon State was his first offer and they just stayed on him this whole time. They recruited him since he was a sophomore. I want to say they offered him the spring of his sophomore year." HuskerFowler
My god. Look at that offer list. And Riley marches in and lands this guy after offering just one month ago? What the hell. I am mesmerized. No, they've been talking with him for over two years. The move to nebraska helped, as he wanted to be close to home, and his grandma. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
His HUDL video is great. He will be blocking a guy, and then just give the defender a "punch" to the chest and knock him down. I know he won't be able to do that at the collegiate level, but that still shows great strength and some mean-ness. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
So we have room for about 3-5 more recruits? 2 LB's, Burrow, Alston and Sykes sounds good to me! 1 Quote Link to comment

I read that that his staff implemented Nebraska's offense when Shields was at Lawton by the time he got to Lincoln, he knew Nebraska's scheme very well. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Brian Christopherson @HuskerExtraBC 3h3 hours ago Barnett's HS coach Randy Breeze knew he might have a special lineman the first time he met him. Barnett wore Size 14 shoes in the 6th grade. Brian Christopherson @HuskerExtraBC 3h3 hours ago Jalin Barnett is on Size 18s now. Breeze has a pair of Size 19s at his desk at the ready. #Huskers 1 Quote Link to comment
