spurs1990
I always wondered how he would fare at linebacker. I don't think we can really screw up where we put him I think he will be a stud at TE or linebacker. Why not Both? He doesn't have to play TE every down but if we put him in for 10-15 snaps on offense I wouldn't complain. Maybe give him a few snaps of rest on defense and call it good. Kid is a great player and I hope he comes in ready to push for playing time right away with his skill. Welcome to the Nebraska form of the two way player. Going back and forth between the trenches playing physical football. This would be something pretty special Quote Link to comment
darkhorse85
Anyone know why his family lives in Beatrice? Do they teach their family business there they grow up there? I just wasn't sure… Thought maybe someone might know I am from Beatrice and I grew up with some Jurgens. I just assumed he was related to them. Cool, thanks! There are tons of Jurgens in the area. Cam is actually from outside of Pickrell. A small town just a few miles North of Beatrice. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Jurgens said he's already been talking with the coaches about the possibility of playing LB. Quote Link to comment

spurs1990
He is built like a beautiful LB. My vote is yes. Wonder if a lot of it depends on the success of our twin towers we picked up and the stable of guys who have yet to prove themselves. Also probably depends on how well our young guys pick up that OLB spot. The good thing is he is versatile enough to do either and can fill the spot that struggles more next year. What a good problem to have! 1 Quote Link to comment
NM11046
Yup - an excellent example of why we should recruit for athleticism, not position. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Are we thinking a OLB or ILB? Quote Link to comment

ScottyIce
Are we thinking a OLB or ILB? Sounds like it could be either. Would be awesome if he could fit the bill as a stud OLB. Able to Tackle, Cover & Pressure the QB. Quote Link to comment

Cam Jurgens as a Junior in HS: 6'3" 238 lbs Clay Matthews as a Fresh @ USC: 6'3" 225 lbs That's a lot of pressure to put on the kid, but how awesome would that be? Quote Link to comment
ADS
Think he would make a great rush OLB. Quote Link to comment
Huskers44
I'd be surprised if he doesn't start two years atleast. I think he's got all the potential in the world. Some people are just made for college football his build is definitely one of them. Excited to see him in the scarlet and cream. Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
Plug him in all over and see where he fits best! So happy this guy is in the fold. Hr will be a difference maker (hopefully) Quote Link to comment

You could see a CB playing WR because there isn't a lot of contact, but going from LB to TE would double down on the wear and tear. I personally hope he ends up at TE, but I could see him being great at LB, too. Quote Link to comment
