VectorVictor
Can I go on record as saying that the RB cupboard is bare...... It's not. Wilbon needs a shot, and Imani needs to be used correctly (read: FB) Quote Link to comment
lo country
I think Banker's scheme can work with some elite corners. With mediocre to bad corners (i.e., ours) the defense is very, very vulnerable to the pass. Almost as vulnerable as Pelini's Cover 2 scheme was to the run. This. As poor as Bo was against the run, we are against the pass..... Yup. Unfortunately for us, we're playing two very good passing teams in the non-con (BYU and Miami). I'd like to see what Banker's D could do with Amukamara/Dennard/Jean-Baptiste level corners back there. Man who wouldn't. Like Bo succeeded with all world talent on the DL, Banker would succeed with NFL caliber DB's. Our lack of DL is hurting the DB's more than their lack of skill IMO.... Quote Link to comment
admo
Is our roster really this poor? I mean the quality of players in the secondary minus Gerry is average at best. We have 2 very good DTs but lack any edge rush. LB depth doesn't exist. We simply don't have the caliber of player needed to be successful Recruiting ratings and the BTN analysts disagree. At least recruiting has picked up under this staff......oh wait.....,,, U sound like wifi. Hmm. I thought BTN had commentators in ties, not analysts. Quote Link to comment
Hannibal
The only improvement I see is Armstrong's play. He's done well. I feel bad for him. 1 Quote Link to comment
Hujan
I wish Wilbon would get a carry. Frankly, it's bizarre. You'd think he'd at least come in for a change of pace. Wilbon is hardly setting the world on fire. He falls backward to finish runs as often as Burkhead fell forward, which is to say pretty much every run. Quote Link to comment
