huskerfan92
Missouri and Auburn being ranked are a direct result of being in the SEC. Neither have proved they're worthy of being ranked 5 Quote Link to comment
Husker67
I would go so far as to say that OSU is only #1 because of last year. Had they started the year as say #8 or something like that, they would have dropped after these lethargic performances. 2 Quote Link to comment
Redux
Yeah they deserved to drop a sppot after that thyud of a performance. Although had it been NIU and Bama NIU would be like 11th right now. Quote Link to comment
GBRedneck
Wow. 2 losses and the 2 teams that beat us aren't even ranked. This is a new low. 1 Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
Wow. 2 losses and the 2 teams that beat us aren't even ranked. This is a new low. One of those teams that beat us lost to a possible play off team by only 4. Quote Link to comment
Frustrated
We aren't nationally relevant. We need to come to terms with that. Until we start winning games we should win and bringing home championships, the rest of the country has forgotten about us. Quote Link to comment
GOAT
We are not a very good football team. It's as simple as that. I have stated my formula for success many times in the past : hire a proven big-name coach/recruiter who can lure top-notch recruits to Lincoln. Without them, we will languish in mediocrity. While I agree, but lets see a list of names or at least a criteria because a "proven big name coach/recruiter" consists of like 3-4 guys. Or unless you keep the perception of SEC coaching in that list too, then you have a list of like 16 ish guys. Quote Link to comment
Husker67
Ask Texas and Florida how easy it is to get that big name recruiter/coach Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
BYU will be ranked in AP Quote Link to comment
Red Five
The Coaches Poll needs to go away. Coaches don't actually fill it out, its some random staffer. And that random staffer is focused on their game and is lucky to actually watch anyone else. Its embarrassing. And it doesn't matter one bit. Taking Auburn and Missouri out of he equation, consider this: Stanford 6 Northwestern 16 Stanford 41 USC 31 Just released poll: #18 USC #19 Northwestern #24 Stanford Quote Link to comment

So far, the results are the same or slightly better than Bo's last few classes. The coaches have still failed to recruit DE. You can see the recruiting misses there coming back to haunt us this season. Quote Link to comment
