Husker66
so we throw that little slant into double coverage on 3rd and 5 and our best players today is our punter...yep we are Nebraska...... awesome Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
we've been good in the red zone? Did he watch the game last week? Might be one of those guys that considers a field goal a win....we have serious issues in the red zone Quote Link to comment
Sargon
Your first read on 3rd and 5 is to hit the RB on the swing? Good lord... He's a "good receiver" Quote Link to comment
Scratchtown
Justin Fuente, Troy Calhoun, Tom Herman, Instead we went after Bielema (debated), and Mike Riley... Quote Link to comment
TheMeanFarmer
God forbid put a team away Quote Link to comment
Danimal
Our OLine is just flat out horrible, and that is a talent issue, not coaching. Our O-Line would be better if Riley and Langsdorf believed in subbing out players to get them rest. :-| Not a *LOT* better, but it would be better in the second half of games, IMO. Hell they didn't sub in the BYU game when it was 100 degrees on the field. Not surprising we couldn't get 3rd and shorts at the end. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
If we don't see Ozigbo the rest of the game I swear... Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Nebraska must be on a record setting pace for most unconverted 3rd & 1. Still, they are doing some good things on all sides of the ball today. Quote Link to comment
throwing bones
Illinois will have the wind at their back in the 4th. Get ready for some shots deep Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
A stiff breeze would knock Newby down. He goes down as soon at the first sign of a defender looking crosseyed at him. Getting kind of old. Break a tackle for once. f#*k. Quote Link to comment
84HuskerLaw
when you have to turn to gimmick type running plays like reverses and end arounds, you are still not running the ball. Run into the line. shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Run for ten yards, not thirty. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I'm just waiting for Illinois to punish us here any minute now............. Quote Link to comment

HuskerfaninOkieland
Why is Newby still in the game? In uniform for that matter? Why not? It's not like Langsahan has any dedication to the running game Because it would force Shawndorf to use a better RB Quote Link to comment
GOAT
Letting Illinois hang around, just like last week... Quote Link to comment
