That was the most points scored against Minnesota this year too. The Gophers played #3 TCU earlier this year, which coincidentally has the #3 ranked scoring offense in the country. TCU scored 23 points on them.

Injuries are a part of football. Nebraska has them too. If Nebraska doesn't get to make any "excuses" when they lose a close game like every single one of their losses has been, then Minnesota doesn't get "excuses" from Husker fans as to why Nebraska went into Minnesota and put a beat down on them.

Correct. We have a skeleton crew at DL and LB. We are just as banged up on D as Minnesota is.

20 of the 70 players on the travel roster started their career as walkons.

 

We suited up 26 defensive players.

This is not that same defense. Injuries have made them a shell of what they were that game.
