adc7236
I am really burned out on Tommy's lob and pray plays. Not what a veteran QB should be doing. 1 Quote Link to comment
Husker67
Look, a slant pass, nice and simple 14 yards Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Morgan is going to be great. He runs with authority Quote Link to comment
lo country
This game is clear that Nebraska does not have the necessary depth, nor the talent to be a good team this year. Sure, we have some talent in some areas, but overall this team really isn't that good. Are they 5-7 bad? No, but they aren't better than a 9 win team that is for sure. Regardless of who was coach this year, we weren't going to have a special season. At QB to run the scheme wanted by Riley. Quote Link to comment
Norhusker
I am really burned out on Tommy's lob and pray plays. Not what a veteran QB should be doing. Yep. It cost us the game bearing a miracle. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
What is the Vegas over/under for additional TA picks today? I am betting if it is less than two Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
I remember the days when NU could depend on a power running game, limiting mistakes, and playing the field position game to win games. Now, that's Iowa. Quote Link to comment
obert1
Tommy plays one heck of a 500 game Quote Link to comment
BoNeyard
I've been on the fire Riley bus all season, but gained hope going into this game. Lots of bright things, and I really thought we had a chance to win this one. I am not going back on my thought. Next year will be better, and Riley probably does need one or two more years. Â With that said, Les Miles would be awesome. Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
  That's on Langsdorf. Quit calling long passing plays into the wind, bottom line.  You've got double coverage, and it's on the OC for his QB throwing into that?  How many times has Tommy done the same silly mistake all year long trying to hit a HR ball?  As a veteran QB, if the play isn't there, you gotta know to eat it and get what you can or throw it away. If you have a QB who isn't willing to do that, no matter how many times he has been coached to do so, that's simply on the QB.  But it is on the OC to bench the QB that consistently makes bad decisions.   So we can put in Ryker Fyfe? See: Purdue  Armstrong is the less of all evils, sadly. That's the state of our QB position.  And as far as your post that the coaches do not coach him better - CTFO. That's just an absurd statement to think that Langsdorf just watches Tommy make this mistakes and doesn't preach to him week after week about the same thing. Quote Link to comment
olddominionhusker
Now 3 & 6 which is poison for this offense Quote Link to comment
Husker67
How many freaking long passes have we tried this year? Â That can't be the basis of an offense, can it? Quote Link to comment
NebraskaHarry
I could call this game. Offense, defense, special teams. Hire me. I'll do it for basically nothing. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
I think that 99 yard touchdown Tommy had in the Gator Bowl may have been the worst thing to happen to him. All he does is launch it downfield Quote Link to comment
