Branno
Sure... why not. Let's see what bottom dwelling MAC school we can lose to. 1 Quote Link to comment
Husker Richard
100% yes. Anybody that says no get the hell out. I want to watch the Huskers one more time. Do we deserve one, probably not. But if we turn it down we are damn fools. THIS. How you could you suggest anything else? Might as well take the extra practice and see what we can do with it. Those of you saying no, please tell me how that benefits this team in any way, shape or form... Quote Link to comment
huskers15
Everyone deserves a "trophy" in this day and age. 1 Quote Link to comment
1Huskermom
I can't believe this is seriously a question. Quote Link to comment
brophog
NO. it's a nothing to gain game if we do. Everything to lose. I'd like to see this list of everything. 3 Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
No. Three more practices with this staff could really set us back heading into next year. This is one case where less is more. We just went head-to-head with the number 3 team in the country. Three weeks ago we beat a top ten team. What the hell do you want? A winning season, and a ranked team, not the Sam Seargenthead bowl 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskersNC949597
While I'm not thrilled at the prospect of being invited at 5-7, saying no reeks a bit of arrogance. So you accept with a smile on your face and try to spin it to recruits as positively as you can. 1 Quote Link to comment
Okie 'Sker
Do they deserve a bowl? No. Should they accept a bowl? Yes. Really, it's either Good Tommy or Bad Tommy. If we get Good Tommy with his head screwed on right, we can probably beat a fairly good team. Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
No...better question is would you go to it? Quote Link to comment
Micheal
I didnt quite fully grasp where Nebraska was until I realized we need San Jose State, Buffalo, and Georgia State to lose.... Quote Link to comment
BoNeyard
No thank you. No bowl deserved. Quote Link to comment
Scratchtown
NO. it's a nothing to gain game if we do. Everything to lose. I'd like to see this list of everything. relevance, reputation. you know, the things that matter to recruits. Quote Link to comment
brophog
I can't believe this is seriously a question. It should be used as a basic competency test. This thread has been started on every board and on the post game. I blame the painters on the little red wagons, personally. Quote Link to comment
alwayshusking
Don't think we'd have a choice being in a conference. I think recruiting at full speed is more important than preparing for a meaningless game that we don't deserve. 2 Quote Link to comment
HuskerCarter
Sure, we can go to the Pinstripe Bowl in New York and lose to a 6 - 6 Duke or a 5 - 7 Virgina Tech. Quote Link to comment
