np_husker
Not sure if this has been posted, so I'll post it here, but Jim Rose is reporting that Frost will be named HC at Central Florida. 3 Quote Link to comment
Redux
BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT HE'S OUR GUY! Quote Link to comment
Red Five
UCF was a dumpster fire this year on the field and also within their AD. Good luck Scott! Quote Link to comment
seaofred92
Seems like perfect timing here. 2 years at UCF we dump Riley in 2 and he's a seasoned head coach for us. 7 Quote Link to comment
Redux
Honestly this couldn't be a better fit for him right now. Everyone clammoring for him to one day be our coach was completely ignoring the nasty pattern we were making. -Solich (1st time head coach) -Callahan (Pro style/West Coast guy) -Pelini (1st time head coach) -Riley (Pro style/West Coast guy) And if we fired Riley after 3/4 a season like some wanted too -Frost (1st time head coach) If Frost is meant to wind up here, at least now he will have experience as a Head Coach. 1 Quote Link to comment
np_husker
I'm happy that he'll gain experience as a HC and I do hope that one day he is our HC. This season shook my faith in the future and I would rather go with a young guy than a staff of proven losers. 1 Quote Link to comment
TITANIC VS LUSITANIA
Lol this is fun because half of husker nation see him as the distant future HC. Now speculate...who will be on his staff who he can drag to Lincoln?? Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
And what if Frost has no success at UCF? Quote Link to comment

Pedro Guerrero
And what if Frost has no success at UCF? Impossible he is a surefire, can't miss, slam dunk, up and comer. There is the real possibilty that he won't be successful there but even if he is average he will still be viewed as the prodigal son. Quote Link to comment
theknife
Nice! He's in a hot bed of recruiting, so hopefully this provides a means for success. Quote Link to comment
Red Five
And what if Frost has no success at UCF? He has nowhere to go but up. They went defeated this year. 7 Quote Link to comment
Savage Husker
We've gone full Flight Tracker! https://twitter.com/SIPeteThamel/status/671689764576305152 Benning was saying this morning that Frost is a single guy and coming back to Lincoln wouldn't be a good fit and he doesn't think Frost would want to make his way back to Lincoln. Is this his recent "days of our lives" soap opera drama they've been joking over? Because I thought I had heard Frost express his interest in coaching at Nebraska sometime in his career? Oh well, congrats to Frost, glad he's leaving finally leaving Oregon. Quote Link to comment
