UNL Sued to Stop Husker Balloon Release

Recommended Posts

We certainly need to stop producing so much 'stuff'. I think I will bring a lawsuit against the world for producing too much 'stuff' as we are endangering the planet! I know I saw a show on this on Animal Planet, Science or one of them speculation networks allegedly about stuff like this. I have decided to become an Environmentalist Wacko too as there is a lot of money in suing people for these sorts of things.

There are too many Texans being produced.

He would have a good point and position, but I'm pretty certain I have read that the balloons are bio-degradable.

Devil's advocate: the ribbons that are tied to the balloons are not.

This could have been embarrassing if the balloon had an N on it instead of being a mother's day balloon.

Has there been an actual impact study on birds dying from the balloon release?

Not a study but it doesn't sound like a good idea.

I'm all for tradition but I'd prefer this one to go away.

I get the idea that this could be hazardous to wild life.. but my question is who is this guy and doesnt he have a better use of his time?

I could understand an organization like PETA doing something like this, but some random guy?

This guy seems like the type who lives in your association and is out measuring peoples lawns to see if the grass is too high.

This doesn't appear to be his first rodeo.
