Hayseed
The only thing I can think of is we are working on these pass plays as a warm-up for Wisconsin next week. I have to think we took the week off thinking it would be an easy game. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Paul
Wasted all that time..should of just given them it knowing they'd get it next run. Quote Link to comment
Jason Sitoke
Everyone can say we need to pound the rock, but outside of Armstrongs 2 big ones....we have gone nowhere on the ground Huh? Newby has a 11 yard carry and he's averaging 3.4 yards. Commitment to the run means sticking with it when is starts a little slow, not just sticking with it when it's off to a hot start. You're right. He has an 11 yard run, which means he's gotten a grand total of 6 yards on his other 4 carries. Yes stick with the run regardless. Not just on 1st and 2nd down...but 3rd 4th 5th....even 6th How about prove as an offensive line that you control the line of scrimmage and make it easy for a coordinator to call your number?! 84HuskerLaw
Defense is simply not playing hard. This is just plain awful! Quote Link to comment
Plaza23
2nd and 18. If you stop them in bounds on a 3rd and 15 or so - call timeout. Make sure you have enough time to do something with the ball if you get it back Quote Link to comment

It'sNotAFakeID
We should be thankful that Purdue threw the ball to us and gave us a short field. Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
This team looks flat footed and lost.... What is our running game? And what chance does it have against Wisc and O State?None. We don't commit to it. where are you getting this idea other than this game? We have ran the ball 60% of the time in pretty much every game Quote Link to comment
lo country
So thoughts on the staff if we lose? Is this the one or two Riley has historically lost? What then? Well obviously we fire them all and start again........................kidding, I'm just pissed right now. Me too. I'm hoping that doesn't happen here. Better talent, fcailities etc... Hayseed
Is it just me, or does Purdues defense look fast, strong, and fundamentally sound? Yeah, they do, but you have to wonder what we practice. THEY PRACTICE? Doesn't seem like they accomplish much ,does it? Quote Link to comment
Bball1091
Playing down to your opponent is never a good thing Quote Link to comment
