NUance
We learned that we can play football in the first three quarters when we want to. And that we give up a lot more sacks when we don't have Tommy's legs to keep from getting sacked. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
It was a meh game against a meh team. I'm glad the seniors could go out with one more win at home, and finish the season undefeated at home. 2 Quote Link to comment
Branno
That this team can win with a backup QB is we ever so slightly adjust the play calling. 1 Quote Link to comment
RedDenver
We learned that Riley absolutely, positively needs to fire Bruce Read. We also relearned that there are a number of seniors on this team we are going to miss next year. 5 Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
Pretty boring game, but we won!!! Gotta be the least amount of penalty yardage the Huskers have had. Newby played well. Feel as if the players got bored too. Fofiddy needs to be done 1 Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Great way for the seniors to go out - undefeated at home. Bruce Reed is the gift that keeps on giving. Maryland is horrible. When we call intelligent pass plays, even our backup can complete passes. Newby would be a best for an outside zone team. 1 Quote Link to comment
Whs from cb
I was able to watch a Husker game this year without my blood pressure rising I agree, felt like we were going to win from the start. Not much drama. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan74
We learned that Fyfe can't win against a good team. Our chances of winning at Iowa are very slim if Tommy does not play. Our special teams can't do anything special against any team regardless of whether it is a good team or bad. Maryland was out scored 121 to 6 over the past two games. We should have scored at least 42 on this team. However, before I anger the masses on this blog and get called all sorts of nasty names. I am happy we won and hope we beat Iowa regardless of whether Wisconsin wins or loses to Minnesota. A 10-2 record is a huge improvement over last year and is a step in the right direction. I guess I'm not convinced that Fyfe couldn't do better than 38% completions, 0 TDs and 2 INTs. Quote Link to comment
hskrpwr13
Fyfe looked the best he's ever looked. Read needs to go. Langs is too loosey-goosey with 2nd-and-shorts. Quote Link to comment
ADS
Still can't close a game out. Fyfe did his job today and with a run heavy game plan he can be effective. We are going to miss Westy. We are going to miss Cethan Carter more. A win is a win and we're one step closer to a double digit win regular season. Quote Link to comment
Apathy
That our Oline needs to toughen up and block better Team lacks focus when up a lot Ryker proved me wrong today Ryker shouldn't have thrown 38 times That we will never run up the score under Riley 450 is still stealing our money That Sam Fotlz was with us today (broken balloon falling on south 27 yard line during tribute video) Quote Link to comment
