RedDenver
Trump should take credit for this. I wonder if this is starting to affect the economic conservatives. I mean, it's wasteful spending like this that they're most opposed to, right? Link to comment

zoogs
The party of taking responsibility is the absolute master of playing the victim. It's all the media's fault! Paid protesters! So unfair. It's funny how it works with "point the thumb" proclaimers, isn't it? 1 Link to comment

TGHusker
Fiscal Responsibility, according to Trump. Come defend this all you fiscal conservatives. No fiscal conservative would call Trump conservative. Stop dumping him into that camp. I don't call him a moderate either only an opportunist - doing whatever it takes to make himself look good. He would have gone liberal if that was the quickest way to the top. Remember before he ran he held all kinds of liberal positions or so he said. Link to comment
zoogs
A good number of elected fiscal conservatives, whom are continually supported by fiscal conservatives, are proudly calling Trump a fellow conservative. Unfortunately. Link to comment
Landlord
No fiscal conservative would call Trump conservative. Stop dumping him into that camp. If that were true he would have never become President. Link to comment

Spare me. The GOP raked Obama over the coals for years about money spent on trips. Everyone was a fiscal conservative then, suddenly they've all seemed to either disappear or are deflecting ownership over the fact that he's the GOP's new standard bearer. 1 Link to comment

He isn't calling Trump a fiscal conservative, he's asking why the fiscal conservatives aren't raking Trump over the coals for this like they did to Obama who was spending WAY less. 2 Link to comment
