Moiraine
One thing to keep in mind here is Washington D.C. and the surrounding areas aren't exactly full of Republicans. 2 Link to comment
knapplc
Trump earned a record-low 4.1% of the vote in the DC area, so you're right, Moiraine. The locals won't be turning out to see this. Link to comment

Enhance
bni - you've been very quiet the last week or two - a lot of us would love your perspective on the cabinet nominations and etc. if you get into the other threads. To be honest I have realized over the past month that many who post on this forum (not saying you) engage in groupthink and are not objective in any way. I can count at least 10 to 15 times in 2016 where I openly criticized Trump yet I do not see many of the Progressives on here, or those who lean to the left, that have openly criticized Obama multiple times. I have been focused on the football and recruiting forums primarily, and right now I am very optimistic and hopeful with where Husker Football is headed, and where this nation is headed, so why let the negativity of this forum get in the way. I disagree as to the objectivity of the group, I can only speak for myself, but I don't view the forum as a tit for tat environment (where I have to find things wrong with someone in order for my positive views to be valid). This forum has always been incredibly open to dialogue and different opinions, but much of that comes down to how individual posters carry themselves. If a poster chooses to engage in aggressive discussion then they will likely be met with aggression in return, and I find many of the people who often complain about the contentious nature of this forum are those least open to varying ideologies and perspectives. 1 Link to comment

teachercd
So does America become great again at 12:01 est? The stock market has been great for like 2 months...hopefully it stays that way. Link to comment
ColoNoCoHusker
So does America become great again at 12:01 est? The stock market has been great for like 2 months...hopefully it stays that way. The equity markets are performing on expectations of Trump instituting tax cuts for the wealthy. If that doesn't happen by April/May, the equity markets will start to recede... Link to comment
