Trump Foreign Policy

But with the briefings he gets, he knows enough that an experienced intelligence agent could glean from his half-truths and boasts significant intelligence.

These are world-class operatives we're talking about here. They're good enough to get actionable info out of even snippets of truths. That's why it's so dangerous to have met with them at all, let alone engage them in free-wheeling conversation.

I see the incident as Trump trying to impress them by showing them how smart and manly he is.

Yeah this^^^...and not even beginning to grasp the possible repercussions. Scary traits for the most powerful man in the world.

Trump Team Planning Possible Retaliation for Classified Leak Allegations

White House officials concoct “ludicrous” revenge plan targeting former Obama administration.

President Donald Trump’s inner circle is war-gaming how best to respond to the Washington Post’s bombshell report that he shared classified intelligence with the Russians about an Islamic State plot, sensitive information reportedly passed to the United States by Israel.

One option under consideration? Attack former President Barack Obama and his administration over their handling of sensitive data, in particular through one information-sharing program regarding cybersecurity threats.

According to a source with knowledge of a White House meeting that took place Wednesday morning, Trump’s team is considering launching an investigation into a Department of Homeland Security program that shares information on cyberattacks in an effort to coordinate globally on countering digital threats, insinuating that it inappropriately opened up streams of sensitive data to Russia and other nonallies. Another option under consideration is placing a story in the media about the program, similarly accusing it of sharing sensitive information.

The White House told Foreign Policy that it was not aware of any such meeting or discussions with Russia to participate in that information-sharing program.

The program in question, known as the Automated Indicator Sharing capability, allows companies to provide information about potential cyberattackers, like IP addresses and emails, to the U.S. government and international partners. The Department of Homeland Security is working on expanding the program to sharing “characteristics of cyberattacks” to help “identify and block adversary methods that we’ve never seen before,” wrote Scott McConnell, a department spokesman, in an email to FP.

The administration’s approach in this instance is a “bag of crazy cats,” the source with knowledge of the meeting said.

Interesting. Implicated in a bombshell report about Trump's loose lips passing on classified info to the Russians? The obvious response to try opening an investigation into your own government agency to try to implicate your predecessor instead.

It's amazing, really, how one of the truly very few tools in Trump's foreign policy tool chest is "hate Obama more."

But it's ok. Who could've known foreign policy was so complicated?

First, the Russians were blatantly disrespecting our planes in international waters, now the Chinese are getting in on the act.

The Russians, Chinese, and indeed the rest of the world have now figured out what Americans who were against Trump have known all along:

Trump is literally a mental midget, who lacks the intelligence to stand on the world stage.

Every where we look, countries that wouldn't have dared to test our Air Force or military are now doing so with ever increasing ease and boldness.

All because Trump is an incompetent, obtuse, moron.

It's kinda funny - Trump was so over the top stupid with the Russians that people haven't even asked...

Why were there f'ing Russians in the f'ing White House? They invaded and are still f'ing with a sovereign country and we are currently investigating whether they meddled in our election. They've killed more Europeans than ISIS. We have sanctions against them.

Why don't we invite Kim here while we're at it? How about whoever the current leader of ISIS is?

What Trump SHOULD do, is next time one of these Russian or Chinese planes does this...shoot it down.

Then, follow it up with a very short press conference where Trump simply says:

"Today, at __:__ , our military shot down a Russian, Mig 27 (or whatever country the plane nomenclature is and comes from) for engaging in aggressive and borderline hostile acts in international airspace.

They were warned twice to stop their aggressive tactics. They failed to comply and were shot down. Going forward, any further acts of aggression by any other country in international air space will face the same consequences."

Then walk off the podium.

But this ^^^ would never happen. Because we all know damn well that Putin and China's leader are telling their pilots to do stuff like this. They feel emboldened, and they should, because they know Trump is a simple-minded, weak, stupid, fool.
