There's a lot of subversive racism here as well. Detroit has been a racial hot bed forever. Detroit is mostly African American, and Dearborn on it's Western border is the highest Muslim population in the US, while the surrounding suburbs and other municpalities throughout the state are predominantly white. Then you have all the backwoods folks and the UP (which is you're typical rural USA). Even the city slickers like to hunt and fancy themselves out doorman here (It was pretty weird to me when I first moved here). Link to comment
