MAGA: a veritable machine gun of disinformation.

But hey, "I found an outlier who is confirms by bias so I believe this "scientist" while the overwhelming majority of credible scientists are in a conspiracy to dupe the world for.....for.... ummm...that I haven't figured out yet".

Wouldn't be easier to make money being a sales consultant or something?

World's richest 1% emit as much carbon as bottom two-thirds: report

Quote

For example, in France, the richest one percent emit as much carbon in one year as the poorest 50 percent in 10 years.

...

Nor are the wealthy invested in polluting industries at a similar ratio to any given investor—billionaires are twice as likely to be invested in polluting industries than the average for the Standard & Poor 500, previous Oxfam research has shown.

This is in my stomping grounds. They did it before, a few years ago, got fined which they paid, and are now doing it again.

You guys memba when Canada was literally on fire at the earliest point in the spring ever, making my f#&%ing throat sore and the Northeast seaboard a hellish orange? That was so 2 weeks ago... At least now it’s only the worst wildfire season in recorded history for Canada. Good thing it's almost July.

Fires were started via arson not climate change

Here's the article if anyone wants to read it and understand why these tweets are missing the point: https://www.reuters.com/fact-check/drop-climate-related-disaster-deaths-not-evidence-against-climate-emergency-2023-09-19/

“See! Technology helps fight against climate change. Therefore, we should fight against improvements in technology to continue to fight a changing climate!”

I'll read the article later, but the original tweet quoted is so idiotic. We built bunkers to be safe from the bombings now less people are dying, so the war we are in is no longer an emergency! No need to stop the war. durrrr :dumdum
