commando
i think trump should go to the senate and answer questions himself. he alone knows the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. he can clear this whole thing up with his vastly superior knowledge of everything. all he needs is a chance to tell america the truth. he wasn't given that chance in the house so he should demand that opportunity in the senate! what could go wrong? 1 Link to comment

The funny thing is, to use the words of Ted Cruz, the GOP and Trump nuthuggers will spend an awful lot of time banging the table about the unfairness of the process, how the president is entitled to protections and shouldn't have to comply, etc... Because they don't want to answer a simple question like this. Because they know, in their heart, exactly how it'd go. Bill Clinton was deposed. Trumpers would never allow this to happen to him... rabble rabble process... because even they know it'd be a trainwreck. 2 1 Link to comment

If Schumer let it out how awesome the ratings would be, and they would be phenomenal, Trump might be begging to testify by the middle of the week! 2 Link to comment

Moiraine
And they could get rid of this buffoon this week if they wanted to. It’s right there in their lap. 1 Link to comment
Moiraine
Why do people obsess over Collins and Murkowski so much? Shouldn't the ones with no chance of voting in the interests of the country be the ones who get the most flack? 2 Link to comment
Danny Bateman
There you have it. Republican Senators don't want the facts. They don't want to hear from witnesses. They want to close their eyes and cover their ears and put their heads down to get the best political outcome for themselves. Vote the traitors disassembling our democracy out. Link to comment

They tried to pass it off as a full, unedited transcript because that supported their case. It's just another in a long list of instances of them trying to mislead the public for their own gain. That's a problem. You think there are incriminating redactions that have yet to be leaked by the other 24 people who witnessed the call? 22 hours ago, Danny Bateman said: Bill Clinton was deposed. And stupidest is that Congress hasn't banned the practice until POTUS is out of office. 1 Link to comment

That is a strange position to hold. The President isn't above the law 5 Link to comment

Trump stood on stage and told Hillary he would throw her in prison. Republicans cheered. You’re telling me that if she had won, Republicans wouldn’t have been be demanding she testify if she were being impeached? You know that if we would be going through this exact same process, Republicans would be demanding it, right? 2 Link to comment
