Landlord
Michigan is actually one of the schools that voted for us to lose our AAU standing. 3 Quote Link to comment
HailtotheVictors
In the world outside of Nebraska a degree from UNL does not open doors So a high school student who comes from a middle class to lower class background in your state is not given the tools he or she needs to truthfully find success in this country Every other BiG state has provided this opportunity for their residence A degree from UM, UW, IU and Minnesota can change someone's life With a degree from either university doors will open in cities like NY, Chicago and LA Texas also provides this same opportunity to their residence Quote Link to comment

I know a gal that graduated from Harvard. Last I knew, her job in New York barely covered her rent. Her parents as far as I know are still supplementing her. I realize a lot of college kids these days don't get this, but what one's degree is in is a lot more valuable than where they got their degree. 3 Quote Link to comment

Now you can kindly shut up and show yourself the door you pompous wolverine. We've entertained your douchebaggery enough. If Nebraska's degree is so worthless; is that why I and plenty of other grads from UNL work along side your oh so holy U of M grads at auto companies in Michigan? Why I have friends who graduated from UNL working in Chicago, Boston, New York, LA, and internationally? Get outta here you troll. 6 Quote Link to comment

Nothing against Nebraska or their fans but sometimes you must find your place in the general scheme of the conference. Not just for UM but for every university Texas means recruits in athletics and well paid jobs for our states in the research fields. Instead of all those Nebraska graduates moving to Chicago or Denver they can stay in Lincoln or Omaha and give that money back in taxes Wait so does it open doors to other places or doesn't it? Do we have people staying in the state giving back or not? Either you're very contradictory, or UNL graduates have their degrees change their life both in and out of state. Quote Link to comment

Kiyoat Husker
In the world outside of Nebraska a degree from UNL does not open doors(.) Every other BiG state has provided this opportunity for their residence residents. A degree from UM, UW, IU and Minnesota can change someone's life(.) With a degree from either university any of these universities doors will open in cities like NY, Chicago and LA(.) Texas also provides this same opportunity to their residence residents. Grammar not a required class? Apparently not. Also, punctuation must be optional in Michigan. 4 Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Uggg...outside of Chicago a degree from IU, UI, MU, MSU or PU doesn't mean anything more than any other typical school. Until you are talking about Cal Poly or MIT or Stanford or NW or Ivy schools...none of the other ones really matter once you get far from that schools location. 4 Quote Link to comment
Saunders
1997 Michigan was overrated trash. Huskers would have won by 4 touchdowns. /EOT 6 Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Shoot, the more I think about it a frat affiliation could help you out more than the school you graduated from in certain places. 3 Quote Link to comment
Redux
HttV: (after 3 pages of our opinion) "All you have offered is personal bias, not real reasons. Texas would be great." - HttV: "A degree from UNL doesn't mean squat, only these handful of Big Ten original Universities I'm about to list off matter because culture. Be more like Iowa." We can't be biased about what Texas brings to a conference, but that load of bullsh#t is just aces?? Mmmmmkay. 3 Quote Link to comment
