teachercd
Am I crazy or is that like...10 points low? Quote Link to comment
Mavric
So basically 32-15 (given spread and o/u)? I'd sure like to think that is low. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Yep! Look...I am super into the lines Vegas sets and I really don't like arguing with them but man this one seems off. Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
Sure seems awful low to me. The line seems a bit low at -16.5 to -17 also. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Yeah...I like the -17. I thought it would be sitting a bit closer to the 20 range. Seems like a weird game to handicap. Quote Link to comment
Caliborn72
Weird stuff can happen to even the most experienced offenses in week 1. Pre-snap penalties and holds that kill drives. Not being completely sharp and missing throws, that kind of thing. Always the safe bet to assume lower scoring output even if the opponent is a G5. I'd be more than okay with the offense putting up 30 or so points assuming it's a comfortable win and there are promising flashes that suggest the offense will get better as the season goes on. But I understand why that seems like a pretty low O/U. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Arkansas State has put a scare into a lot of P5 teams in the last few years, and our offense is a very big question mark. It's not really that low. Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
Take the over...we need to crack 40+ points or it will be a whiny weekend. Quote Link to comment
BIG ERN
Arkansas State has won their last 8/9 games, and returned a lot of their production. Finished strong with a bowl win over UCF by 28 points. They are however a Sun Belt team... Quote Link to comment
grandpasknee
I'd be OK with 40-7. Quote Link to comment

It'sNotAFakeID
There's a lot of "new" to Nebraska this season, mainly a new QB and a new defensive scheme. That's uncertainty and I think the low O/U and spread are accounting for that uncertainty. I'm going to be optimistic and take Nebraska and the over, and hope for a 45-10 win. Quote Link to comment
Xmas32
The line has dropped to -14.5. 1 Quote Link to comment
teachercd
I just saw that, wow. Big drop! 3 points Quote Link to comment
