** Scott Frost megathread all things SF***

Here’s the interesting/concerning thing about the Frost bet on Bovada. So the bet is phrased “Will Scott Frost be the head coach of Nebraska in 2018?”

You can ONLY bet Yes for -250. You can’t take the other side of the bet. Usually they would have a No option for + 200 or something like that to hedge their exposure. You can only take the yes side.

My opinion is this, Chinander says that he likes it at UCF and Frost's decision to leave is hard and would be hard for any of them i.e. Frost asks them to come to NU.  The staff is focused on Memphis and he hopes to be here.  He is campaigning for the HC offer.  If he's asked to go with Frost, it will be a hard decision for some of the staff.  If Chin is offered, he will be more apt to try and keep what he can together....

Just my .02.

Yeah. I don’t care what anyone says. Multi million dollar gambling operations didn’t get that way by being stupid. If there is action on this bet this is not a done deal in my book. It does have reduced betting limits tho

Remember when we were all shocked when Vegas was predicting around 4 wins........

Vegas, Atlantic City etc didn't build their massive casinos by losing money...

If it's not Frost and Fuente gets locked into a long term contract, I sure don't want to be left in the cold.....Maybe Candle?.......

@Hedley Lamarr  Any news?????!!!!!!!!

The silence is becoming deafening....

Can you dumb this down for the non-gambler - how is it to be interpreted?  (I take it, not a good interpretation?)

No news is good news.  Nothing has changed, it's still us vs UCF and since that has been quiet since Sunday night....it's us.  Just gotta wait until they play Saturday.

In the simplest terms, they are only letting you bet that yes Scott Frost will be the Nebraska coach?  An optimistic UCF fan can’t bet no. They aren’t offering a no bet. I find that odd. The other point is that if things are considered common knowledge they would take the bet down. As of right now I can still bet it. This is not a done deal. Sports books aren’t stupid and the fact that they aren’t even offsetting their risk on this bet with a No bet is doubly concerning

I hope so.  I'd think out of respect for NU and TO, Frost or UCF would've announced that he was staying or a deal had been reached etc......Frost, more than anyone knows how the coaching search works and what the early signing period means....
