Trump hauling Putin's water again

Former President Donald Trump blamed the United States for "almost forcing" Russian President Vladimir Putin to invade Ukraine.

Trump's remarks came as Russia continued to stall in their struggling "special military operation," ordered by Russian President Vladimir Putin more than seven months earlier on February 24, 2022. The ex-president has been critical of how President Joe Biden, who he may run against in the 2024 presidential election, has handled diplomatic relations with Russia. But critics accuse Trump of taking positions seen as favorable to Putin.

During an interview on Real America's Voice, a right-wing network favorable to Trump, the former president criticized the Biden administration. He argued that their "rhetoric" in the months leading up to the Ukraine invasion contributed to Putin's decision.

"They actually taunted him, if you really look at it. Our country, and our so-called leadership, taunted Putin. I said, you know, they're almost forcing him to go in with what they're saying. The rhetoric was so dumb."

He claimed, without evidence, that the Ukraine invasion would have "never" happened if he were still president. He also did not provide any specific examples of how the U.S. "taunted" Putin into invading Ukraine.

I still wonder why Republicans love and support Putin so heavily.

Ronald Reagan is rolling in his grave.   He'd be denouncing Russia, Putin and he would be supporting Ukraine in this war.   Proof that the GOP has been taken over by the Manchuian President and his puppet master.

Very dry, boring article that explains in a well-thought-out, detailed manner why Russia is screwed at about the end of 2022.

TL;DR - Lack of ammunition, engines, shells, replacement barrels and parts in general caused by too-small military budgets and shortages caused by President Biden's sanctions mean that around the end of this calendar year simple supply issues will make it extremely difficult for Russia to continue this war.

Worth a read, especially if you're having trouble falling asleep.

I was surprised at how short the operational life of a tank or jet fighter engine is. Less than 1,000 hours in some cases. That doesn't seem like a lot.

It will be interesting how history records this war and also how military strategists at military academies world wide use it as an example of incompetence, poor execution, poor planning and also plain evil when a mad man controls a country - thinking he is a military expert when he isn't (sounds like TFG who said he knew more than all of the generals).

At least he didn't accuse any of the Ukrainians of being pedophiles this time.

Some context on Elon's claim that he needs a handout from the US Government for Ukrainian use of Starlink:

I would imagine the answer to "why is Ukraine so special in sense of operating SpaceX and StarLink" is... Elon's feelings got hurt.

Elon is, and always will be, a POS. He got the aura because he says things that sound really smart if you don't dig too deep into them (see his latest claiming the Cybertruck can be a temporary boat in the seas and other bodies of water), and he has enough FU money to ensure his projects won't fail no matter how much of a cluster f#&% they are (see the Model 3 launch).

All true. But like most things in life, Elon is complicated and has done a lot for electric vehicles and conversion from fossil fuels. The Model 3 has been an amazing success since the early struggles.

A person would have to be insane to not think Musk is a loser and a POS...

The only people that actually like the guy have bought a Tesla.
