HS_Coach_C
ESPN Story Quote Schools identified by Yahoo! as having players who possibly violated NCAA rules include Duke, North Carolina, Texas, Kentucky, Michigan State, USC and Kansas. At least 25 players are linked to impermissible benefits, including Michigan State's Miles Bridges, Alabama's Collin Sexton and Duke's Wendell Carter. Quote At least six players were identified in the documents as receiving payments exceeding $10,000. They include Dallas Mavericks point guard Dennis Smith Jr., who received $73,500 in loans from ASM before he played for NC State; Brooklyn Nets shooting guard Isaiah Whitehead, who received more than $37,000 around the time he was a freshman at Seton Hall; and 2017 No. 1 NBA draft pick Markelle Fultz, who received $10,000. Quote Other teams with current or former players who allegedly received payments were South Carolina, Louisville, Utah, Xavier, Wichita State, Clemson and Alabama. Other players named include former LSU guard Tim Quarterman, former Maryland center Diamond Stone and former Kentucky center Edrice "Bam" Adebayo. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirts007
Curious if Bridges will be sat for the B1G tourney. Man would that work in our benefit big time if we beat Michigan first. Quote Link to comment
BIG ERN
I doubt they do anything until after the tournament. This happened with the Cam Newton scandal the whole entire season when he played. Make harsh penalties/bans for these schools. No more slap on the wrists Get rid of the AAU and 7-on-7 culture. Just makes it much easier and pressing for schools to cheat. I hate how those teams outweigh their own high school teams anymore Quote Link to comment

huskersrule95
Looks like some of the cases are pretty minor and are just a meal but some pretty serious trouble for some with the money payments. It will be interesting to see what happens and how severe some punishments are. Edited February 24, 2018 by huskersrule95 Quote Link to comment

huskered17
Would not surprise me to see Steve Kerr, offered the job, after the NBA season is done. This is the UofA flagship program. With the new football coach hire, it may start to turn more towards football, down here. GBR!!! Quote Link to comment

Why in the world Steve Kerr even think about going back to college even if Arizona is his alma mater? He is coach of the best team in the NBA. 2 Quote Link to comment
