This year it is @Wisconsin, @Ohio State, @Michigan, and @Iowa 2021 is a 3 game stretch of @Oklahoma, @Michigan State, and vs. Ohio State 2024 is a 3 game stretch of Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State. But in the long history of college football, the traditionally dominant teams regress to their place and the bottom feeders to theirs. None of this talk would matter much if this conference could put together a proper rotating schedule. How in the hell can any administration look at some of these years and think this is competitive balance. How do these schedules help member schools compete for a national title. It's an absolute joke. I agree with that; there's absolutely no reason why we should play Ohio State 4 years in a row and Michigan only once. Dumb, dumb decision making processes going on. I think the reason they did that when Nebraska joined was because Michigan and Ohio State were in different divisions and they knew they had to have that game every year. I do wish there was a more consistent/simple approach over all. There is no reason not to do a straight forward round-robin with cross division games..... If they want teams to play more often, then I wish they would do a delayed home-home series. As in, we would play at UM this season, but then wouldn't get the return trip from them until 3 or 4 years later, once we've rotated through one game with the rest of the eastern teams.
