lo country
Watching Wisky is like watching NU of old. Solid, sound fundamental football. Nothing flashy. Just punch you in the mouth until you quit......They are brutalizing Michicken. And that OL....... 1 Quote Link to comment

How are you being a realist saying we will lose by 3 to 4 scores this far out? That is being pessimistic. We could improve, they could have injuries, alot can happen. Its a long season. Just because they are beating the crap out of Michigan doesn't mean they are the best in the west. Lets see how Michigans season plays out, they haven't looked good all season thus far. Wisconsin is a very good team and should definitely be considered the favorite at this point, but we have only lost by 4 scores once under Frost. Its not unreasonable to think we can play them close. 4 Quote Link to comment
lo country
Wisky is a power team for sure. Getting the tough yards when needed by simply over powering the DL. I did see some of the "shield/screen" type blocks our OL uses/tries to use. Wisky RB's have great vision and can get to those openings quick. That OL can plow like a team of oxen....... And that defense....... Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Who cares if Wisconsin is the better team right now? I guess it sucks, but it shouldn’t be surprising. They have great lines, the best RB in the country, and a QB who seems to be an upgrade to previous Wisconsin QB’s. Frost inherited a cluster eff of a program and it will take time to turn it around. The lines don’t get rebuilt overnight. 3 1 Quote Link to comment
Salsa Red
The problem with WI is that they are a very solid team but as good as they've been they've never seriously contended for anything other then conference titles. Also MI is getting exposed for who they've been all season. They were really overhyped and will likely lose a few more including to OSU. Harbaugh is also looking like Pelini, a good coach who can beat up on lesser teams but can't win big games. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

HuskerNation1
Wisconsin has proven they can score a lot of points. For a team to keep up they will have to counterpunch offensively. We have a lot of speed and offensive weapons to do so but would need to limit turnovers and play sound special teams. Wisconsin is in the middle of 5 straight home games and likely will be undefeated and a top 5 team when they play at Ohio State in late October. 1 Quote Link to comment

MSU on 10/12 might be able to slow them down but their offense is not good. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
It’s time for Nebraska to take these next two weeks to continue proving the west can be the dominant division. wisconsin did their part. 1 Quote Link to comment

Undone
Thought this was the best place to post this. We'll be huge underdogs to Ohio State. But I'm definitely looking at it like this - the season really starts on 10/05 against Northwestern. Seems unlikely, but if we win out from that point on, we win the West. That involves beating Wisconsin, which seems like a really tall task, but it could happen. A lot of people will let the wind get taken out of the sails if we lose to Ohio State, but going forward from that point on it actually doesn't matter if we win out. 3 Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
As long as Nebraska is competitive, I don't necessarily think that's true. Most of us are aware that Ohio St is a much better team at this point. Quote Link to comment
