Add in 90 yards on 14 touches against that defense, and baby you've got a stew going. Now watch him not play against MSU haha. 1 Quote Link to comment

Great looking run fake- safety came down very hard- he was out of position to pick up the TE> . Safety came down hard before the run fake- if anything he was reacting to the motion. The pump got their DB, #12 to pause. He closed very quickly to make the tackle so it is my opinion that without the fake to the short receiver, he stands a chance to break that play up. The near Safety was looking at the run fake to Johnson off the Jet motion. Not sure why the near Safety would come down hard away from Jet motion if not to take away the RB run threat heading his way AND Johnson showed run fake early. Without that bite- the play doesn't open up like it did. The Safety on the other side of the field wouldn't be concerning himself with a short outlet pass fake on the opposite side of the field. He was looking at the Jet action his way- which would have give him pause, then the WR heading deep in his direction. The short pass away wouldn't change a lot for him. Excellent play design by Frost- 2 run fakes a puller and a crossing route with 2 outlet routes available late if needed. Quote Link to comment

This offense should really take-off if we can get the O-line playing better, it all starts up-front. Quote Link to comment
