I think this is exactly right.  We played better than I expected. We need changes on the staff and I’d even like to see it in the bye week. I’d offer Tom Herman control of the offense. Run first and get some studs out of TX and OH.

I know peopel don't like him, but Tom Herman.  He is a analyst with the Bears.  It's an easy risk vs reward for him.  Come here, save Frost and rebuild your brand then get picked up.  Sole OC and QB coach.  Bill Busch to recruiting and ST....RB (with the program) to coach RB's....Ed Warriner as OL coach.....

 

Bill doesn't lose anything to get paid

Ron loses nothing coming on board

Ditto with Tom-he gets into coaching

Ed- is at FIU....Move up

Well I commend the team for keeping it close. The D did the best they could but as always the O and ST came up short

Frost has to go.

There won't be a big name, big splash hire. No big name wants to come to the middle of nowhere where there is no longer a recruiting pipeline. Nebraska has to throw dead money out there. It's a sad situation.

None of these close losses against Top 10 teams matter when you also lose to teams like Illinois, Purdue, & Minnesota.

This is what is tough considering the direction we go. This team clearly fights and has heart, which was the problem in question under Riley. This team just can’t win.

Even if we would’ve pulled off the upset there would still be people complaining. Crap if you do and crap if you don’t. 
I vote we keep Scott one more year with huge changes in offensive staff, hire a special teams coach and for crying out loud-get a decent kicker! Go raid the soccer team! GBR!
