Obviously those programs are looking for a starting qb so that's why they offered him. He hasn't lived up to the high ranking that the recruiting services gave him but he may be better then any of the qb's currently on those teams rosters. The one team I did question on his list of visits was TCU bc they have a returning qb in Josh Hoover granted his stats don't wow you bc he only played in 5 games but he did throw 15 td's to 9 interceptions. Plus with them adding Ken Seals from Vanderbilt you have to think now more then likely he is going to cancel that visit. 1 Quote Link to comment

The likelihood of a coach telling a recruit “You’re our starter kid” is pretty low. It’s up the player and the sales job of the program.
