Mavric
Since we've made profiles for everyone else before the official announcement..... This was reported by recruits over the weekend. And now more sources confirm it today. So it seems extremely likely that he'll be the guy. Not sure if there are contract negotiations going on or if he might have to wait until Carolina's season is over. Was a player at Temple when Rhule was there. Then a student assistant at Temple and a Quality Control guy at Baylor before going to Lehigh and rejoining Rhule at Carolina where he is the DE/OLB coach. Another young guy - 28. 5 Quote Link to comment

admo
Important coaching spot to fill. New LB coach needs more Husker love on here. What do we know about him? I want to get more excited about this! Quote Link to comment

I want to get more excited about this! He has 2 seasons as an assistant with the Panthers. Prior to that he was an assistant at Lehigh, and a quality control coach at Baylor. He played for Rhule at Temple before suffering a career ending injury. After the injury he transitioned into a student assistant role at Temple. Nothing negative out there about him. He seems to fit the young energetic mold that Rhule is looking for. 1 Quote Link to comment
admo
@Hilltop Thanks HillTopper!!! Yeah I agree and think he fits the mold and energy they want for LB coach. He's got some returning talent in the room but needs to make them Big Ten ready - tough, physical, quick and fast (including coverage help). I cannot wait to see how this group develops within a new scheme. Quote Link to comment

KCBuc
Isn’t Eckler the one who got hit in the nuts by an errant pass while at NU? 1 1 Quote Link to comment
