  1. What the hell is that supposed to mean?

  2. I’m all for waving the interest and don’t feel that government provided student loans should have any interest from the beginning.

  3. Maybe we could stop funding both sides. Remember last month when a well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory gave Iran billions? With the exception of Biden and the State Dept, everyone knew that was a terrible idea. NYP: Biden continues Iran’s access to $10 billion just weeks after its proxy killed three American soldiers

  6. This isn't really true. The problem with MAGA candidates without Trump is that the horde of morons refuse to trust any non-Trump candidate. MAGA is convinced Trump is their savior. Any non-Trump candidate is one Q-anon post away from being labeled a pedophile and a RINO. DeSantis entire candidacy revolved around the word "woke" and losing a PR battle with Disney, and this was a terrible candidate. If you wanted to dominate elections, my advice would be to first not vote for embarrassing candidates like Trump in 2016 and 2020. If you continue to participate in politics - which you have no business doing and should avoid at all costs - nominate normal candidates. If Republicans nominated Mitt Romney types for all their races, they would control the Presidency, House, and probably 57 Senate seats. Republicans play politics on easy mode but they punch themselves in the face repeatedly.

  7. So sad to see another AMAZING DIFFERENCE MAKER being hushed up by this court system. Do they not understand that she is LITERALLY stopping a war! Right now, people in Gaza are cheering her on!

  10. Who can forget Republican nominees Scott Walker, Newt Gingrich and JEB!? At one point all these dudes had a string of strong polling positioning them as tentative frontrunners prior to Iowa. Archy definitely likes DeSantis more than most. I can understand why conservatives think he's an effective executive with conservative bonafides. But the same held true for Walker, in particular. And yet he fell on his face. I'm not sure folks who are fans understand how widely reviled these types are outside their own bubble.

  16. I mean .... you point out nine games. Those include games where we scored 8, 9, 8, 7 and 11 runs. I'm not saying we couldn't be better overall. But we're averaging 8.6 runs per game in over half the games you use as examples of lack of batting production. That seems to strain credibility.

  19. In fairness, Republicans nominated John McCain and Mitt Romney and lost handily. They regained their groove when they went psychotic and obstructionist, including state and local levels.

  20. I understand that being grifted into voting for Trump twice had caused you to undergo bizarre, reality altering views of the world in order to reconcile your support for embarrassing morons who hate America and also happen to be anti-democracy criminals. But my God, posting RFK Jr. videos after Trump is facing 14 criminal indictments for interfering in Georgia's election and in federal elections. The cases are ongoing... and guess who's fault it is? VOTERS LIKE YOU for supporting him. We need to collectively stop coddling these voters who live in rural states and collectively place proper blame that they've given rise to Trump. These people need to be regarded with mocking and derision.

  21. Yes, Republicans are excellent stewards of financial prudence and have very little responsibility for this. In all seriousness, it's impossible to fix. I'm genuinely in awe of this being a repeated worry on the Right when their "fix" is meaningless spending cuts and massive regressive tax policy.

  22. It's crazy, isn't it? When times get tough, Americans buckle up, double-down and make the necessary sacrifices. Well, except for the tiny minority in ownership, who see an exploitable opportunity and have no trouble profiting from it. The cherry on the sundae is how some of those profits find their way into political messaging, where the business class is the victim, workers are lazy and selfish, and the government is to blame for pretty much everything. Or haven't you heard how raising minimum wages would kill the free market?

  25. Agree….since the debt is some mythical figure to most everyone now a days, let’s go back and give refunds to those who either paid back on time or if they didn’t go to school, give money towards their car debt, home debt or CC debt. For the struggling and even stable citizens.

  26. All signs are pointing to Jackson being Nebraska's next commit. I am curious as to how many WR's we are bringing in with this class. I can't imagine them going heavy in the portal but I know they want to bring in elite HS guys. Nonetheless, Jackson is a good player.

  31. I hear you, but essentially the north stadium expansion (which was the home for the team) was named the Tom and Nancy Osborne Center or complex or whatever, and since we no longer use it for the team they're more or less just "moving" the name to the new facility.

  32. I am 100% for this IF they also reimburse everyone that took out student loans and paid them back. OR if they offer a credit card forgiveness loan for any Americans that have over 10K in CC debt and make less than like 60K a year. Just to make it clear before some dorks freak out. I have 0 CC debt, I make more than 60K a year (when I strip on my OF page) and I never took out a student loan. I have no dog in the fight at all. But if you are going to help some, might as well more even more.
