    Season tickets and parking pass all set for Nebrasketball. First time doing this so please don't ruin it for me Miles..

    The recruiting world has made it to the classroom. Got a note from a parent today: "Weekends are for fun and family time and not for homework. Please respect our decision."

      @RedSavage those studies, IIRC, were only for K-3, and didn't really consider 4-6 grades. And frankly, once kids get to third grade, you should be giving them some homework--partially to reinforce learning in the classroom, but more as an exercise of responsibility to get the kids ready for higher grades and the work necessary to succeed.

      I mean, I don't remember how much homework I ever had over the weekends in elementary school. That tells me it probably wasn't much. However, it's school. My parents would have never sent that kind of note to a teacher. Honestly, since when is this OK?

    Missouri some how in a shootout with Missouri State. State up 21-20 to start the 2nd quarter. Doesn't bode well for all those in state recruits they want.

      On episode 2, I'm conflicted about the QB. I get what he did was bad, but I'm also of the opinion that it should not kill his entire future. Def should not hit women, def should have walked away, but it definitely looked like she threw the first punch.

    Happy 4th everyone! Off to camp in the Badlands and Black Hills for the week. Suggestions for things to do/ survival tips for 102 degree weather in a tent welcome.
