@Toe, ya, the media would do well to have "the good of us all [in mind]. If you believe that ... good luck with that.

It's Friday ... but Sunday's a comin' ...

Made me think of Hutmacher!
-
My bad for turning on the game after half. How did this team get up 17-0. Colorado looks to make better halftime adjustments than our coaches.
-
Ya, my bad @NebraskaHarry. Looks like this one is on me. But hey, we are on pace for the 7-5 projection.

Oregon beating CU is telling of where we are as a program. Much work to be done.

For sure. Didn't say we were. @ZRod, what do you think we are, Top 20, 30, 40 or 50?

OSU - 11 in Top 100
PSU - 4 in Top 100
UM - 1 in Top 100
Wisky - 0 in Top 100
NU - 0 in Top 100
Weird to have such a good class IMHO and not snuff the Top 100 with any player. Even if we got Hiles we would have missed out on a Top 100. Crazy. Glad stars are not everything. Still sobering. Thankful to have Frosty and this coaching staff to create a team out of these players.- Show previous comments 4 more

@Atbone95 "Not follow recruiting much". That's funny stuff. Good little jab, although not true. I simply used ESPN because the post that was being referred used ESPN. The recruiting numbers actually are less in our favor under 247.
Yes @swmohusker, it was even more sobering to discover that OSU has 12 guys in the 247 Top 100. It boggles my mind how well we are going to do in this recruiting class, yet, still in stars and ratings we still lose ground to OSU. The big kicker for me is how stellar they did at DT and DE. Here we are having Masry with grade issues as the #82 ranked DT prospect while OSU has the #20, #55, # 92 best DT's in the TOP 100 of ALL players. Again, sobering. :-)Yesterday was 9 months of sobriety ... so ... give me a break ... it's a good word for me. I promise though ... I won't use it tomorrow guys. :-)
-
Just teasing bud. Congrats on the sobriety and hope for you to continue that path. Osu is ahead by huge margins, this class by frost was pieces together in about 2 months, while urb has been working this class for at least a couple years while compiling results on the field at a national level. Give frost time to carry out his vision and time to connect with recruits for a Couple years and we will start competing with recruits. God bless and GBR!!!

@swmohusker, I promise, I'm going to be far more patient then the other knuckleheads around here. :-) I'm so thrilled to have Frost & Co.
So to you and @Atbone95, curious to ask you guys rather then in a thread ... it seems like we usually have 0- 5*'s, 5-7 4*'s and then 10-14 3*'s.
I'm thinking that under Frost we can see the 4* and 3* numbers flip with a good couple of years. What do you think? What needs to happen to get there? We will never have the great recruiting class in my opinion, but we can still be great at developing players with Top 20 classes. If we can restore the OL and DL pipelines then that's when I think we really see the program turn around. So, in future classes, we really need to pick up some decent talent on the OL and DL and get a good pipeline installed here.

OSU = 2- 5*'s, 17- 4*'s, 4- 3 *'s
NU = 0- 5*'s, 7- 4*'s, 12- 3*'s
Sobering. Speaking of sobriety ...
9 months today. Grateful!- Show previous comments 14 more

@knapplc, I don't feel ripped on at all with the responses. But ya, I'm not ditching anything we've accomplished in these few short days of recruiting. It's miraculous. Which is all the more sobering ... because I'm grateful for what his staff has accomplished ... and yet, it feels like we lost ground to OSU ... even this year. We probably should lose ground this year with the coaching change ... but dang, OSU has had an amazing recruiting year.

OSU already wrapped up 5* 2021 DE. Gulp! https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football-recruiting/2019/02/102165/five-star-defensive-end-jack-sawyer-commits-to-ohio-state

Since the switch, when I click on the next page not viewed, it takes me to the first page of the link instead of the last post on the 7th page [as an example]. Anyone else have the happening? For me, it's more annoying then these Ads.

Strange, fascinating and interesting ...

Waiting for Desmond Howard to tweet that B1G should kick Justin Fields out of the B1G. :-)

@krc1995 Don't we always pride ourselves on being honest fans? They're being hypocrites if they said stuff like Dez did, but s#!t up when U of M and tOSU say it too. Really those guys just look like idiots and it'd be nice if everyone knew.
-
@krc1995 I don’t get where you’re coming from on this. Nebraska fans aren’t whining about Fields or that Michigan and tOSU had basically the same stance on the season cancellation as Nebraska did. Repeat, it’s not whining. It is done to point out the hypocrisy of Desmond ‘Douche’ Howard and the other talking heads that jumped on his bash Nebraska train while not saying squat about others who were saying the same things. Did I mention that Dez is a douche?

Wisky already has two 4* OL for 2021 in Top 150. Solid.

Iowa is at #9, we're sitting at #14, and Minnesota is right behind us at #15. Interestingly, Michigan is at #22 and Penn State is #27. It's like those two have switched places with the top four West division teams. Ohio State is still #1, though.

Wisky has a higher star rating than us, in addition to be #12 nationally. Have not seen that ... um ... ever!?!

Well again, when it's priced out at 75 B a year and gains from the tax are estimated at 300 B a year the tax covers. Even in a dynamic system with increased enrollment the spread is covered. You'll even notice that there is a category with an expected gain of 21 B a year with no cost. So arguably that money could go to tuition as well.

Didn't realize my comment would create a storm. I don't really care for Republican or a Democratic view. I'm a Conservative Libertarian I suppose. More then anything, this video shines light on what America better resolve. We are in debt, we must get back to work and have the smallest government possible.

I really don't get any of your comments. Debt is killing this country. I'll take my fair share of blame for the debt in this country ... as should all. We must live in our means ... just like each of us do as a family. How is this politicizing the point? Just stop reading my status guys. No worries.
