From your user profile page, under the 'Profile Feed' tab. On your own page, it lets you post a status. On others' pages you can leave a message for them. I think they have to have the friends thing turned on, but they don't have to be your friend.

  5. Stephen Gostkowski (K-NE) with a 60-yard FG. Nice!

Matt Prater, of the Denver Broncos, hit a 64 yard field goal, which is the current NFL record. In a real game. Patriots can kiss my ass.

  7. Really no need to panic guys. We're going to win this game and next week will be a new week.

      It'sNotAFakeID

It's hard to forget these performances though, especially when they are so frequent.

    2. EbylHusker

      EbylHusker

I sorta think we just blew this game off after last week's performance. At least mentally for the players. But even if that's true, it reflects poorly on the coaching staff.

    3. zoogs

      zoogs

Well, time will tell how concerning a sign it really was, I suppose.

Hey, not every week can be an awesome beatdown. It's the preseason. Just get the job done and work on tuning up.

  8. You know, I actually think it's better to schedule top FCS programs than bottom FBS ones. You play teams with a culture of winning and won't back down, and that makes for a worthy test. And the difference in quality is negligible at worst.

    1. It'sNotAFakeID

      It'sNotAFakeID

And considering McNeese had a lot of transfers from FBS programs...

Not a great game for AA, but that one Heisman-worthy play will be all anybody remembers.

  10. Comment seen on ESPN Boston this week: 'Josh McDaniels is an idiot. He always goes away from what's working. Why doesn't he use the TE more?' Can't make this up.

Brady was something like 4-12 when targeting Gronk. But don't let the facts get in the way.

Their problem is they can't pass protect.

  11. Woah, Virginia? L 20-28 to #7 UCLA, W 23-21 over #21 Louisville, currently leading #21 BYU. Who are these guys?

  12. Geez, how many episodes in a row is Gotham going to start with the exact same "previously on Gotham" sequence? Not that Penguin isn't extraordinary.

    3. zoogs

      zoogs

well, they're surprised too: the subheader reads "Somehow, Nebraska -- which got trucked... -- is a big favorite over a ranked team."

  15. Melvin Gordon's FBS single-game rushing record fell today. So that's something.

      zoogs

Another game vs a division leader, I mean. No idea how it'll turn out.

That was an awesome TD pass Rodgers threw today, by the way. Haha. How did he see that?!

An immovable object is about to meet an unstoppable force.

And I'm conflicted, so I'll have to stick with my first love. Go Pack!

  17. I wear this enlarged Aaron Rodgers head against my will. Congratulations, tschu. Good game.

Bwahahaha! Losing bets sucks. I was rooting for the Pack tonight. Other than that, both Pats and Pack can kiss my ass.

  18. Welcome, Mike Riley! I think we'll be OK, you guys. He sounds like exactly what we want off the field, and this'll be his chance at the helm of a much better program. Also probably not a long term hire, but the guy we need right now.

    1. QMany

      QMany

I don't want to be OK.

    2. bleedNUred

      bleedNUred

Q, why don't you give him a chance before jumping to conclusions. Nobody here is a fortune teller, but we all are Husker fans. I know he not Tressel like most of us wanted but he could end up being just as good or better for us. Give it time.

    3. zoogs

      zoogs

      Heh, semantics.

I think we'll be MUCH BETTER off as a program. Riley is going to heal wounds and represent NU well. If he can win championships, great. If he can't, he'll probably retire and hand off a program in better shape to the next guy.

  19. Tom Brady just had a 17-yard scramble for a 1st down on 3rd and long.

  23. I can't find the thread where we were talking about the JUCO kicker visiting, but I just saw that he would be a 2015 walk-on.

      AR Husker Fan

Sort of doing the same. It's knowing the odds are so long; two starters out, lack of depth, etc. The "underdog" syndrome, I suppose...
