    If we start in mid october we can still have a team/teams make it to the cfp. And fact is, college football is a business, and if your conference has a team make it to the cfp its big $$$ for the conference. If the B1G doesnt start soon enough for that to happen then who really cares if a fall season is played or not. The conference needs to wake up or we will be left behind.

    Ok. Why in the hell wont the B1G let schools in the conference play if they want. They are play each other and still be eligible for the CFP. I would bet money the schools that play would be willing to share revenue with schools in the conference that dont want to just to be able to play.

    With all the ridiculous lawsuits these days I am thinking of filing one against the B1G for mental distress, loss of revenue, medical fees associated with depression, along with many others. Why not? Who is in? Lets make a class action. Do we have any lawyers willing to do this pro bono?

    Well, nice to see some B1G coaches finally pushing to play in the fall today. Too bad they were too pansy to do it ahead of time. I never understood the cancel the season. Push the start back ffs.

    Fact is athletes would be MUCH MUCH safer playing their sports and being monitored regularly. If you are gonna get myocarditis or DCM from covid i would much rather have them in sports and being monitored for it regularly than out and about doing what college kids do without close monitoring. Hate to say it, but chances are more kids are going to die this way whether from covid or other things b/c of lack of structure.

      You have a point. If the P5 conferences  put these kids into their respective campus bubble and tested, retested, isolated, and played against teams that have done the same protocols, then a season may have been plausible. 

       

      However, that's not the case. We have our current situation. People not taking this pandemic seriously and people thinking this whole thing isn't as serious as it is. So, here we are. Nobody is happy and a lot of people only have the person in the mirror to blame for this.

       

      I really do agree with your point that a lot of kids in D1 sports, especially football and basketball, are better off in a structured system with rigorous testing. However, those systems have not been put into place in any athletic program. They've had months to prepare. It sucks.

      It's an interesting take, but it's not a fact. The added variable of being exposed to people in other cities and states alone might be enough to make it less safe.

    Glad to know our society has become a bow down culture. This virus is a coronavirus, just like evey other coronavirus that came before it. It HAS to run its course and will mutate to a much less lethal form in the end. Partial herd immunity is the best thing we can do. There will NEVER be a true vaccine. Why??? B/c there has never been a coronavirus vaccine due to mutation rate, and there will never be one. It is a coronavirus, just like your regular cold virus. It will have to eventually become a herd type immunity to decrease its mortality rate. Just like the regular cold virus, a coronavirus, was initially deadly, it will eventually become less deadly. The original coronavirus wasnt made a big deal b/c scientists didnt know what was happening, and didnt know what was happening like we do now with all of our technology. But, it was just like it is now, but the political bs media wasnt pushing the propaganda. Quit being sheep ffs!! People are so open to persuasion now. Use your fuvkin brain, this is not the first time this has happened in the world. Its just the first time you sheep are letting the media decide your beliefs. Its a new coronavirus!! It sucks, nobody is safe, it will make its rounds, people will die, herd immunity will be the key, and there will never be a good vaccine (<20% effective]. We cannot let this thing control our lives. Protect the most vulnerable, but otherwise life as normal has to go on.

    Man, I just once again realized why I don't wander into this forum. So much lib butthurt. The media loves the libs b/c they believe anything. Listen, I don't love Trump either, but to make it out like he is the enemy and hasn't done anything good is total hogwash. I actually trust him more than any long time politician. Politicians are the worst people in the world, getting rich off supposedly being a voice for the people. What a bunch of s#!t. They don't give a f#&% about the American people unless you can line their pockets. Just wish more people would look around, figure it out that it shouldn't be Dems against Reps, it should be the American citizens against all of them. A total wash out of Congress needs to happen. The way these idiots make $$ is a total sham. There should be limits, there should be complete transparency of money transfer, etc. These idiots are getting rich by "helping us with their great bill creations". What a bunch of f#&%ing s#!t. Wake the f#&% up people. They are laughing about how they can get you all to fight about Democrat or Republican, which in turn takes the spotlight off of them and the s#!tty job they are doing along with all the money they are making.     Was really hoping to see a basketball type thing for targeting, like flagrant 1 or 2. Some of these targetings happen due to offensive guys ducking their heads. Thats not the same as launching directly at someone and crowning them.
