We ran a speed option that TA was trying to check out of and #5 clapped and TA about fumbled the ball. We got stuffed and he was upset at the official bc it was blatanly obvious.

I'm at the point where I don't even care anymore. You know the risk you take whenever you use a clap as a cadence. We learned that the hard way against MSU, but to come out and bitch about it again is just silly. Adjust. Change the f'ing cadence.

It is not whining. It is a rule which is the referees job to enforce. A defender cant just start yelling a cadence out or he will get flagged. Same should be for clapping right in front of the officials before a snap. Someone needs to eat a snickers and chillax.

He started for most of last season too. As I wrote somewhere, he has lost his confidence. If he doesn't get it back pronto, he's toast.

A few things. He apparently was the best we had last year. The coaches are aware now for sure of the problems he has been having. They have shown that they will pull him if needed. I think they will most likely be quicker to pull that trigger now so I don't really have a problem with him starting. They see every practice. What I have a problem with is that apparently there is no one on the roster obviously better to put in that position.

Nebraska already has Stewart's replacement on staff. Donte Williams.

Okay? Still doesn't mean he is our best returning player. Best returners would be gates, Morgan, Jones, and Kalu. I would say from what I have seen a Williams is a better player and reed looks more like a SS

I am not arguing if Kieron is better than anyone of those players. My point is a counterpoint to your statement that he might not be a starter next year. Banker made it perfectly clear that he did not want to play Kieron.
