    Great win Lady Huskers, but why are we on A&M's home court and KU is playing South Carolina in Boulder? That doesn't seem real fair.

      It's all about the money. You go neutral with WBB you're not going to sell half as many tickets in the first rounds. Way too many blow outs and not nearly as much drama from the women's bracket.

    Ah, '09 Iowa State. There was a point in this game where I wanted to kick a field goal on first down just to take a 10-9 lead because it seemed like there was some kind of Bermuda Triangle between the goal line and the 5. I literally wanted Nebraska to kick a field goal on first down.

    I remember that whole game. Was there with my old man. We were #1, they were top 10, and it wasn't close. The final score flattered them; most of their points were late. Just once I'd like to do that to a good team again soon.

    It will become the most intense rivalry in that division, I think, in time. Having spent roughly half my life in that state, it's very personal. I don't enjoy being on the wrong end of it.

    Is anyone else like "March Meh?" Just don't find the tournament compelling at all this year. Maybe I'm jaded from not having a team in it for so long.

      I'm loving March Madness. The parity makes for not as much "shock" value as far as the wins/losses, but it makes for really tough, hard-nosed ball.

    I'd be happy with these as our permanent uniforms. Me too. I love the Indianapolis Colt stripes. The stripes have been migrating higher on the home jerseys for sometime anyway.

      I think he will add Atewe in about a week.. thats about 7 new guys who can giv eus meaningful minutes to add to the 4 who already do(Gallegos/Parker /Rivers/Shields)

    I like the idea of throwbacks especially on anniversaries. I think this year they should have a 1983 30th reunion game and breakout the mesh tearaways with the "N" on the sleeves for one day. For 2015 and 2017 they can pull the stripes off the pants for one day. For 2021, both OU and NU need to wear 1971 duds. It has to happen.

    Could see like blinking end zones and stuff like that..... the "HUSKERS" disappears and is momentarily replaced by a big flashing "TOUCHDOWN!". Of course, like anything, the technology will eventually be abused and people will use it for advertising.

      I agree, and have been thinking the same thing all year long. He gets the absolute best out of these guys night in night out. It's not nice, but sadly, it's brutally honest to say that this group just doesnt have upper Div1 caliber talent.

    News of Ken Clark's death is real sobering. Few things freak me out more than people in their 40s just dropping dead of heart attacks. Still remember the day he outplayed Barry Sanders. Might be the most underrated Husker I-back of all time. RIP.

      RIP Ken. I'm too young to have watched him play, but I remember the first time I saw highlights from that Okie St. game and how amazed I was by his running. Prayers go out to the Clark family.

    Thousands of Husker fans in the Denver metro would beg to differ Playing it at Invesco (as has been floated) would be even sweeter, especially since I live about 10 minutes from it.
