  1. How long before Michael Bay starts directing National Signing Day commitment films?

"The helmets of each school not chosen by the recruit will be destroyed in a series of prohibitively expensive and elaborate explosions."

  2. Well..... I was entertained.

  3. Oklahoma complaining about the Big 12 and the Longhorn Network.... oh, the irony.

Sooners need to stop acting like whiny little girls.... nothing's gonna change in their favor while in the Big 12....sign up for the Big Ten or SEC or shut up and live with it...

  4. Sad but probably inevitable. And all the morons claiming we couldn't win without him are clogging my timelines.

  5. Roll Tide.... off a cliff.

  6. Isn't it weird that all three teams wanting to go to LA are all teams that left it once before?

And the fans stopped showing up to the games. LA is a Baseball/Basketball town. The Raiders would prefer to stay in Oakland. They just can't reach any kind of deal on a new stadium.

I think teams threaten to leave sometimes to create an uproar and get a new stadium built for them. At taxpayer expense.

I'm a huge sports fan, but tax payers shouldn't be footing the bill for these stadiums, when the owners are billionaires.

  7. Green Bay needs a new coach. McCarthy's been found out and he's got no answers.

First year in 5-7 where he loses the division and he still makes the playoffs, something needs to be changed in coaching but I don't know if it's McCarthy.

How often has McCarthy lost coordinators and how long has he been calling plays? I found Gruden's comments about calling plays as HC pretty interesting. Said calling the plays himself made his coordinators less desirable to be hired away who would then take assistants along with them.

The problem is that the rest of the division has figured out how to scheme him, even the Bears and Lions, and he's not adapting. The OL and WR injuries haven't helped, but the entire system just looks stale and out of date.

Jordy Belson seriously undervalued here. Wow. No one knows what the presence of a stretch receiver does in the nfl? Ask alex Smith.

Yeah, they got it turned around. Cotton should've been the day game.

  10. USC couldn't beat Wisky even with a couple guys in black and white stripes playing for them.

That was a turrible call calling that guy OB. Turrible!

  11. Foster Farms Bowl twitter account says Nebraska is the home team, and will wear red. I'm kinda hoping for a color vs color matchup myself.

I liked that with the USC/ UCLA game. It looked great.

All reds or our standard home vs UCLA's blue & gold would be neat. May not play good but we could sure as hell look good.

  12. That was the most Big 10 drive ever.

Langsahan thought there wasn't enough passing.

  15. Well, this has been 24 hours of football hell.

  16. Man, really wish I was going to this game. Been to six Black Friday games and every single one of 'em was epic. Great days.

  17. No love lost for Wisconsin but they were absolutely hosed twice.

Especially since it couldnt have happened against a better team.

  19. Great stat from SNF - Rodgers, P. Manning, E. Manning, Brees, Wilson, Flacco = all Super Bowl champions, all lost today.

Roethlisberger won. But he wasn't technically the starter for Pittsburgh today.

  20. So Nebraska gets its act together and now the Packers suck. Seems like it's always one or the other....

      BIGREDIOWAN

They're a mess offensively and what the hell was with the field goal attempt at the end there?! Did it hit someone's hand? I had to leave for work and didn't get to see the replay.

    2. CheeseHusker

      CheeseHusker

I think it hit Masthay's non-holding hand. Crosby is blaming himself, but I don't see how he could have missed the ball so absolutely. I wouldn't shed any tears if Masthay got cut tomorrow regardless.

  21. They deserve this.

teacher....i havent seen any of those posts talking about purdue being good...but i have seen a few thousand talking about how bad they are. i think you are maybe overstating your case just a wee bit.

    3. teachercd

      teachercd

Heck...I even saw a post that said that Purdue started better talent that NU did last weekend.

    4. VectorVictor

      VectorVictor

Commando, there are numerous posts comparing the Purdue and NU 2-deep and coming to the conclusion that Purdue has more talent by star rating.

Problem is that assessment is horribly flawed since walk-on players were given a zero star rating, thus bringing NU's average artificially down to help create a talking point for Riley apologists.

  23. That entire 30 for 30 on the Buffs just about made me puke.

No joke. Coach Mac knowingly accepted his team lost but won on a 5th down and then said it was unfair because of the field conditions. I guess only the fluffaloes played on that field. What a scumbag he was.

It makes me feel better that they still hate us so much. I don't even know if they still have a football team.

    4. CheeseHusker

      CheeseHusker

They do, and they actually aren't half bad this year. Should have won at UCLA. But the thing is, you never know it from the local media. They get about five minutes on Saturday night dedicated to their game, and the rest of the week you hear nothing. Denver's a pro sports town, full stop.
