      We get a real one, just look better than the fake ones. Yes, I know they drop needles all over the place, but it's a family tradition now at this point as we've done it ever since I boys were born.

      Real trees are nice but I will never get one again after the last one I had. Kept it a little too long and when I got rid of it all the needles fell off and I spent hours cleanin those f'ers up. Needless to say will not be getting a real tree again.

    The "wife" thing is valid but only depending on what and how you are comparing it... If the wife is from X and the chance to coach/stay in X is on the table...well then Lincoln is not gonna win.

    I don't blame him...you get to that crossroads and you have to think about it...will I play...will I get a chance (one would think he would now)...do I want to try something new... I bet it crosses the minds of most guys that have been on any team and they realize half their time (or so) is up and they are not playing a lot.

    The "us vs them" thing is not "just" a Bo thing...its more of a social media thing. It is sooooo easy now to see a bad play and tweet the player or instagram or anything like that... Even a few years ago that was not really the case...you might see the guy at the bar but you were not going up to his face and be like "Nice job losing the game, A-hole"

      Because he talked to Tressel 2 weeks ago when this wasnt a big deal. The deal is done, he isnt even doing anything anymore because its already done. The lawyers are working behind the scene now. Think about it, there was no university to ask because he has no one to answer to Im telling you, Jim Tressel is going to be Nebraskas next HC

    This stuff always happens...right when a guy gets canned or leaves the "stories" start popping up...and of course they are always a bit different than the reality of the situation. Think of your place of work...think of co-workers that were canned or left...the stories/memories of them good or bad are usually expanded on over and over...it is the classic fishing story. The 14 inch bass becomes 18...then 20...then two feet. (Also, I do the same thing with my unit)

      Not getting that feeling at all. I'm picturing playing ranked teams and actually looking like we belong on the same field as them.

      With the talent on the team, find me more than 3 losses: BYU, South Alabama, Miami, Southern Miss, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota,Northwestern, Purdue, Mich St, Rutgers, Iowa. 8 wins at a minimum, 4 losses at max without a meltdown.

      JJ, I think by a strict look at numbers the new coach will inevitably have a worse record than Bo. But that's not a bad thing if the guy's potential is higher.

    It is funny you say that, I just texted a buddy the exact thing...Lets face it we kind of have TressVest (cause that would mean you basically have the 3rd best coach in the country with Saban and Meyer, roughly) but then of course there is the downside of his age and lack of coaching the last few years but still most fans would be boosted with the "wow" factor. Then you have that second tier but really none of them have the "wow" factor but for some reason it seems like (probably just major overreaction by us fans) that we are on the tier three...kind of the dud-wait-and-see
