She's too old. Strictly boxing would be cool to see but she's too old to fight a top opponent.

Who's the guy behind the camera? Total tool.

      True2tRA

Not according to her, she's not ZRod. Hell, she has already guaranteed a victory if it were to happen. Laila Ali is quite a cocky one herself. This would be badass to see.

  2. The NFL dropped the "B****** rule". Good idea. That rule was pretty ridiculous.

Haha! It made some sense, but was pretty money hungry.

Wasn't there a DT from Memphis a couple years ago that put up 50+...

    3. Stumpy1

      Stumpy1

I was way off. Poe done 44 reps. A player from Eastern Kentucky has the record with 51 reps.

    4. True2tRA

      True2tRA

Crazy. 51 Reps! We did this at the gym a while back me and two other guys I lift with, they compete with each other and I'm the puss of the bunch. First guy did 32, then my other buddy did 34. I'm the consolation prize winner with 16. Kinda sucks when you work out with some badasses. They are in their 20's though.....

  4. I own a 1951 Bowman football card signed by Chuck Bednarik. One of the old dogs. Passed at 89 years old.

Its alright man, you're not out of line for asking, but for me it's priceless. I've never been able to part ways with any of my collection.

  5. Got some time on your hands? Got Netflix? Watch "The Culture High". We live in a country driven by fear mongering and greed. It's disgusting really.

  6. I knew I'd be rooting for Gangwish purely because he's a Nebraskan, but I love this guys mentality. Go get 'em man. Kick some ass.

  7. I kind of think it's funny how every LJS article I've read lately seems to start with a couple sentence caveat before they continue to making their point. It's like they've gone to calming the overreaction before it even happens. They know us Husker fans pretty well over there huh?

    1. NUance

      NUance

Well I'll show them. I just won't read those first two sentences. LOL

  8. Alright fight fans, does Big Country Nelson beat Overeem? Another great fight tonight, Matt Brown v. Johny Hendricks. I'm picking Hendricks in that one although I got a lot of respect for Brown. Hendricks is a beast.

It's a shame he couldn't put Overeem down. If he had another round or two he might a gotten it done. Overeem had a good jaw, though.

    4. True2tRA

      True2tRA

I couldn't believe Overeem brushed off that right hand that Nelson landed. About knocked his mouthpiece right out. Overeem landed those damn knees right to nelsons face about ten times too though. Either guy coulda went out but didn't, tough ass dudes.

  9. Doesn't get a whole lot better than this does it? Steaks on the grill, cheddar and bacon taters in the oven. Beer in hand (Leiny's Sunset Wheat). No matter what you got going on in life, sunshine and spring warmth just seems to make the outlook much better.

As a Dolphin fan, there were far more issues on that team then the DLine. However, have to be stoked seeing Suh next to Cameron Wake

I would think his bad boy image would be embraced there. Or did that go away with Als death?

  12. Are we selling Ryker Fyfe short? He is after all, the backup QB. Maybe he has more of a shot of taking the top spot than many of us think.

I think that Nebraskas problem at QB can be summed up by the fact that he is our backup.

    4. Lyons in the Sea of Red.

Lyons in the Sea of Red.

Why? Because he came from a school in Nebraska?and wasn't at an elite 11 camp? Go look at how highly recruited some of the qbs in NFL rosters right now and how little some were recruited.

  13. Gleason Tibau just got worked. Tony Ferguson looks freaking good! Rousey fights main event later.

My daughter turned 13 on the 15th of this month lol. She's becoming quite the know it all that I was at that age, but we all still express our love. I think we did a good job of that as parents, I hope we never lose that no matter how grown up they get.

When my girls were little I would always put their bath towels in the dryer so they would be nice and warm when they got out of the tub. Simple pleasures are the best :) Enjoy your little guy-they grow up so quickly :)

  16. I'm glad I was in Lincoln doing some shopping today. Sounds like this was a great game to completely miss. I heard 42-16 at half on the radio....that's all I needed to hear. I hope these guys are embarrassed. If not, I am for them.

  17. Now that was a good basketball game! Nice job Huskers. Didn't come away with the win, but damn it was a hard fought game.

They aren't quitting but defense will only carry them so far. I was only able to see the last 15 mins. On the night the offense clicks they can beat some good teams.

  18. Those Alabama police officers better end up in prison with a lifetime of sodomy headed their way.

Sadly, that probly happens every day to innocent suspects. But not many suspects end up getting hurt that bad.

  19. In 2012 UCLA beat #16 Nebraska 36-30. Two weeks later Oregon St. handed UCLA their first loss of the season 27-20. Both games were @ UCLA.

Offense wasn't the problem for NU in that game. It was letting UCLA run up and down the field when they had the ball.

I can't remember the last time I had Pringles. They are good, although a bit salty. I did see a show on the original making of Pringles. Pretty interesting.

  21. Serious question: when Mike Krzyzewski first started coaching, his name was pronounced [Kris] - [shevsky]. At what point did everyone start pronouncing it [shoe] - [shevsky]? There's is no SH at the beginning of his name. Yes, it's dumb, but damn it annoys me when people say Shoeshevsky. Is this the actual correct pronunciation?

Probably INS messing up another foreign name so the family kept the pronunciation but changed the spelling.

  23. I'm seeing Jameis Winston at the top of a few Mock Drafts now. If a team decides to take Winston in the first round, I hope it burns their asses for the next 10 years. Especially if they draft Winston while Mariota is still on the board.

Honestly, I don't know as either of them are franchise QBs. Its a very bad year to need one. The Vikings really did well by getting Bridgewater last year.

    3. Danny Bateman

I'd be curious to see what kind of character grade Winston gets from scouts. I guess I'm the rare breed who'd prefer Mariota on his team, but I'm an Eagles fan hoping we trade up

    4. True2tRA

      True2tRA

Count me in the same category dudeguyy. I'd take good teammate and a good QB over a classless asshat with possible rape charges that is also good at football. Plus, Mariota would be awesome as an Eagle.
