Yes, you don't see any original post of the ignored person. Although you can see they posted something and you have the option to "view it anyway". This is where most people lose the self control to really ignore them. If you're going to read their BS anyway, might as well not put them on ignore.

You can see their posts if someone else quotes them. This is why everyone who is complaining about 1 or 2 posters needs to quit responding to them.

I agree with you JJ and have done so myself, but in doing so, I've disengaged from posting because every thread is nearly predictable with the direction it will go and is almost unbearable. That's my personal problem and I'm OK living with my decision because it's not all about me. The Nebraska Football section is good to see updates, but to participate in, over the last 10-12 months have not been enjoyable.
