Football is officially done for me and I'm pretty cranky so I'm going to try to be positive and give positive energy to the Huskerboard world: I'm excited for the future of Husker football: recruiting, coaching, development, etc. I still believe there are more good people than bad in our world and I believe a lot of them are you Huskerboard people. I'm hoping for a Huskerboard tailgate next season that a lot of us can get to (including me!). I'm finally going to get my s#!t together and propose to my very patient girlfriend. I don't really buy into the new year's resolution thing but now is as good a time to be a better person. (I fully expect to get roasted for this but that's part of life yo)

It's being reported that Kyler Murray is going to forego baseball and enter the NFL draft.  I know that most people will think "why turn down all that baseball money", but since Murray is a QB, he can probably earn more in the NFL, than in baseball.

If he's drafted near the top of the 1st round he will get a guaranteed $20-30M in his rookie contract (and at least $10M if he's anywhere in the first round).  If he is halfway successful, he will be looking at $150 guaranteed in the NFL after 5 years.

Also, NFL QB's don't get beat up like they used to, so there isn't the physical damage which some people argue for baseball.

Northwestern may be less of a problem soon...

Shatel has a good article today about how Riley wasn’t recruiting Nick Henrich from Burke very hard, and Eichorst alienated Henrich’s parents. My brother also told me that when Bryson Williams from LSE visited NU, Riley asked Bryson how his flight was. Riley and Eichorst were the biggest jokes ever. 

Nebraska Twitter seems to disagree with me, but I thought it was obvious that ball was in.

Are baseball and volleyball the only sports where you can play a ball that is out of bounds/foul with your feet out of bounds/foul and it is still okay?
