Not sure if you are referring to Keyshawn Sr., because I don't think that's helicopter parenting. But, in general, I agree with you.

Helicopter parenting would be Sr attending every practice and pushing KWill/Riley to play Jr. That is the opposite of what it happening here.

The fact that many politicians see fit to crack jokes about WWE and how they've all wanted to do this, coupled with Gianforte's phony apology and his constituents' responses last night, are incredibly troubling. It's normalizing violence from our public officials for basically whatever they deem necessary.

Moiraine - this is a democracy. You are responsible for what you vote for, in my eyes. If anyone is on the hook for the "stupid decisions" it is me and others like me. That's the point of a democracy - if anyone should have reason to be upset, feel guilty, etc, it should be those who voted for him.

The whole "I will support Trump, because I voted for him" seems misguided. All that means is that you are going to support him, no matter what he does. You should be able to change your opinion on someone if his/her behavior warrants it.

I don't see why it's negative to fire coaches who don't have great results after 5 years of coaching the basketball team. That is enough time to show some program development and improvement.

Or we could be like UW with Romar who recruits even better talent, sends individuals to the NBA, and still havent been to the dance for 5-6 years
