BaytownHusker
Did anyone watching the game last night notice how Pissed off Saban got when they got a penalty. Why is it ok for him to go pissy on his players and tv but not pelini? Quote Link to comment

junior4949
The proof is in the pudding. Saban has won three NC's while Bo has won none. When Saban went to LSU, LSU hadn't been to a bowl for a couple of years and hadn't won a conference championship in 12 years. He immediately turned the program around and won a NC building up the program that Les Miles inherited. When Saban took over the Alabama program, it was riddled with problems. Bama hadn't won a conference championship in the eight years prior. Saban since taking over in 2007 has now won two NC's. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
If snarling on the sidelines is wrong, it's wrong. A good W/L record shouldn't give a coach a free pass to behave any way he wants. If it's OK to snarl when you're 12-1 and won the mythical national championship, it's OK to snarl when you're 9-4 and finish #24. 2 Quote Link to comment

Things that winners do are often considered strong points, while a loser doing the same thing is often considered a flaw. 2 Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
As a coach he's great. As a person, not so much. He is wired different. That story that came out earlier this year about how he stepped over an injured player and went to his office without saying a word is very telling. Quote Link to comment

junior4949
The easiest way to look at it is if I'm a high profile recruit would I rather play for a prick that's a proven winner or a prick that isn't? I have a feeling this is how the media looks at it as well. Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
Did anyone watching the game last night notice how Pissed off Saban got when they got a penalty. Why is it ok for him to go pissy on his players and tv but not pelini? Did you see Saban and Miles' interviews going into halftime? Considerate, informative, to the point. LSU at that point had about 40 yards of offense and Miles was able to put together 150 words that didn't include "we'll be fine" -- Compare that with Bo. Bo's sideline demeanor is just one of his many issues when it comes to the public's perception of him. Put it all together and that's why it's an issue for Pelini and not Saban. Quote Link to comment

It'sNotAFakeID
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRjDVsw-eQU&feature=related See he can do that because he wins national titles. Quote Link to comment
WAHusker
lol, nice try but he wasnt close to what Pelini does. Saban yelled at a player... happens all the time. Pelini? He losses his damn mind and losses his composure. BIG difference. If you dont see it, thats on you. Quote Link to comment
