Moiraine
I thought there was some unwritten gentlemen rule in the B1G that you can't contact a recruit after he's committed within the B1G. I've decided they voted to exclude Penn State this year. Quote Link to comment
Lyons in the Sea of Red.
Urban Meyer sure as hell wouldnt know anything about that rule. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Would definitely make up for losing Dixon. Hope it happens. Quote Link to comment
WoodyHayes1951
I thought there was some unwritten gentlemen rule in the B1G that you can't contact a recruit after he's committed within the B1G. that "rule" is used by the lesser coaches as an excuse for losing recruits. Bret Bielema was recruiting former OSU LB Brian Rolle all the way until signing day a few years back(and yes, he was an OSU commit well before signing day) Quote Link to comment
WoodyHayes1951
Oh, and the way we benefited from PSU recruits jumping ship last year, I think the same can be said for you guys if punishments for the Nits come out before you fill committment spots. Quote Link to comment

TonyStalloni
It's easy to see why a few PSU players/commits might get cold feet with the discussions around the Big 10 this week. If Ross is going to jump, there is a great place in Lincoln Nebr he could spend 4 or 5 great years. Quote Link to comment
Treand3
All of our Ohio connections, successful DB history and the fact that NU isn't staring down the barrel of a gun like PSU are plenty reasons for him to come to Lincoln. Quote Link to comment
CMT1525
any news on how his visit went? none of the recruiting sites having even acknowledged him being in lincoln Quote Link to comment
HuskerFowler
247 has confirmed he was here, since it was a "secret" visit and he didnt tell anyone that he was coming i really didnt expect him to give any interviews about it, not sure how long he was on campus either. With the sanctions being announced tomorrow, i can see him either decommitting or committing to us soon. Sounds like Penn State is going to get hammered. Quote Link to comment
