southernoregonhusker
is DONU. He has our boys going down to MSU by 3. He talks about MSU's excellent defense without talking about our offense that ranks first in the B1G I believe. Over the last 10 years, I haven't felt too confident in big/bigger games. I feel confident about this one. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/writers/stewart_mandel/11/01/week-10-pickoff/index.html?eref=sihp&sct=hp_t12_a0 Quote Link to comment
RedTexan
Only thing that worries me is this game is on grass. We lost to UCLA and almost gave NW the only other game on grass. Other than that, I'm reasonably certain we are better than them, we just need to play better on grass. Quote Link to comment

MLB 51
Honeybadger almost won the heisman while playing on grass! I think that kind of grass is banned by NCAA. Quote Link to comment
Peoriahusker
Honeybadger almost won the heisman while playing on grass! That's kind of funny. Quote Link to comment

Honeybadger don't give a sh#t. But in all seriousness with that defense, this wouldn't be that big of an upset Quote Link to comment
huKSer
Does Stewie have a track record? Quote Link to comment
epocSoN
Meh... they are much worse than last year and we are much better. If we handle our business like we did against Michigan, it should more than make up for the home field advantage for MSU. We should win by 10 to 14 pts. Quote Link to comment

sd'sker
i think we win this and even if the score is close, we feel secure in the victory throughout the game. however, i will say that if msu wins, i hardly call that an upset. definitely not worthy of an 'upset special'. Quote Link to comment
ladyhawke
In a way it's kind of complementary for this Stewie guy to consider beating Nebraska an upset. It says to me that people still think of Nebraska as one of the historically elite teams in college football (even though we all know the struggles that we've had these past several years). I think we win depending on which Husker team shows up. If our defense can play as well as they did last week against Michigan and our offense plays sharply without error we can win. Danimal
How is this an upset special? It's been pretty-much a pick-em game. Quote Link to comment
skerfan2284
I think it will be a great game, and come down to the 4th quarter. MSU has a great defense. I think Nebraska takes another close one..24-14. Martinez will be forced to scramble more and Kenny Bell will hit a 100 yards receiving for the game. Quote Link to comment
lo country
Honeybadger almost won the heisman while playing on grass! Michicken lost to App State a few years ago playing on grass! It happens. Quote Link to comment
