huskerfaninbuckeyehell
amazing how 1 missed sack changed the whole game it wasn't the missed sack that changed the game, but the rehashing of it. Bad stuff happens and you gotta move on. so who gets the blame for not moving on? Quote Link to comment
Chumpy34
I still blame this one on the momentum change at the end of the first half. We are up 21-3 and get the ball back with :57 seconds and suddenly revert to a conservative plan, go 3 and out and allow UCLA to make some big plays and kick a field goal. They miss but they go into the locker room with some confidence and energy where as we were on our heels just trying to stop them on those last few plays. They come out in the seconds half and keep the momentum going, we go conservative once again. Suddenly, we forget we have 3 awesome running backs and have Martinez pass the entire time. A few more 3 and outs and UCLA scores in a row and game over. If we would have kept that momentum in the first half going, maybe even tried to get a field goal at the end of the first half, different game and story. Obviously there are other factors and scenarios, but this is when the game changed... Quote Link to comment
NUance
How I feel about this game. Quote Link to comment
mnhusker
This is why the Huskers for some don't belong in the top 25 ........ the loseses are now just who we are and can not be chalked up as a fluke to be overcome. Bo defense has been very bad without Carl. Quote Link to comment
lo country
Anybody think that maybe Pelini is really not the right guy for this team? If anyone knows my past on here, they know I am insanely hard on Bo. But even I believe Bo can be the guy. But for him to be that guy, Bo himself must be willing to make changes to the program (ie., coaching staff, weight program, and recruiting). Bo is smart. Sometimes too damn smart for his own good. And the players respect him. Those two things alone still give me some hope he can be a terrific HC for us. he is at the cross roads that cost Cally and IMO should have saved Solich. Keep your friends, lose your job......... Quote Link to comment

He's just too damn stubborn. Quote Link to comment
Whistlebritches
well were gonna lose this one.We will win out till when we play michigan, think were good again, then lose and get our hopes up. again. Where have we scene something like that play out before? I certainly wouldn't pencil in the game against Northwestern as a Win just yet. Quote Link to comment
Karawithasmile
Ameer really hasn't looked impressive at all so far this season. Dude looks really average this season. Sadly agree. Had really hoped to see him carry the team ala Rex. Even though he has the yrds, he looks average. Martinez, running, has never looked this bad. Instead of tucking and going North he runs around. Total regression IMO. Cross has looked great, but yet we don't see him much. I'd have to assume the coaches see more in Ameer from week to week... but then again the coaches aren't really earning my trust right now... Quote Link to comment
ClemHusker
Six and a half minutes off the clock by UCLA on that possession. Exactly when Bo's defense couldn't afford to. Well, three TDs in the last 2 minutes. Or even an FG. Quote Link to comment

lo country
Just heard Bo owns the most points scored against NU at home. Mizzou in 2008 (52) and this one. Great job staff. Great job. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
f#*k Martinez We give a lot of rope on game days for people to vent their frustrations, but an attack on a player like this is unacceptable. This is a notice that your warning level has been increased. Please don't do it again. Thanks. Really? What about the dozen other attacks on Martinez? Do those get the same treatment? I don't see everything, man. Feel free to use the report function. Like I said, we're fairly lenient on game days, but there's a line. The point of posting it publicly is to hope it gets read and more people understand. Our job is not to dole out punishment. It's to keep things civil and that's the only reason for such a notice. Some guys'll slip through the cracks but most get the picture. Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
Hooray for reverting to the old Bo Pelini coached teams right before our eyes. Penalties penalties penalties and piss poor defense. Quote Link to comment
Husker_luver
Ameer really hasn't looked impressive at all so far this season. Dude looks really average this season. Sadly I agree. Lack of zone read has hurt his yards. His stats have been good but he has really been average with one big run in the first two games to make his stats look better. Quote Link to comment
